An outstanding experience! Flew in Friday as IFR when the snow/front arrived early The local Enterprise rental car folks went out of their way to show up and help me with the no deposit rental. They let me drop off the car shortly after the usual 1200 close of the office. The Flight school folks had no obligation to help me defrost the airplane the next day, but they did anyway when I ran out of fluid. (In Maine it is cold, and the friggin snow remains snow). They don't have an Internet access but made a huge effort to help me get out the next day. The gas is cheap. The local support was outstanding. This time I needed to get into the New Brunswick/Edison Area. This place is all the best parts of GA.

Apparently lack of fuel yesterday (11/11) was broken pump; it is fixed today and pumping again, per a phone call to the airport

Have been getting cheap fuel here for years. First with my C340 & now with my A36TN. In & out with a minimum of fuss. Must be patient if someone is ahead of you. Shut down and wait. Hose is long enough to reach unless park to far out. Never there long enough to try food. Again, in & out. Quick & cheap (+$1.00 less)

By far the worst airport I have flown to in the region. My passenger and I flew in to see the airport. As soon as we walked in the door, about 6-8 flight school students and staff just stared at us - no one said a word. After about 5 minutes, a man came up to us and told us "there is no FBO here - we're only a flight school. There's fuel out front" and walked away. Very cold and rude. Pizza and Pasta is a short walk down the road and is quite good! Take my advice - unless you're going to Pizza and Pasta stay far away from here. The FBOs at Somerset (KSMQ), Solberg (N51), and Princeton (39N) are just a short hop away and are far, far superior.

Good fuel stop enroute to New England. Fuel is on the south side not at the FBO BP sign. Flight school folks (at BP sign) were very helpful with departure suggestions working with New York TRACON. Fuelmaster printer was out of paper so check your quantity and keep some sort of record.

Fuel area and transient apron is now freshly paved. Fuel prices still extremely good. Unpublished (as of now) AWOS-2 activated with 3 clicks on CTAF. Pizza & Pasta still has great food. Beware of deer, banner tow and model airplanes to the right when approaching 07.

Flew in for fuel in my Cessna 310R, due to the low advertised prices. The fuel hose was not long enough to reach both sides, so I had to taxi my plane around to get the other tank. Very inconvenient (see below) and so I probably won't be back, but will try N40 instead. The airport has a lot of elevation changes and it's a downhill run to the fuel pumps at a steep grade. Made me fear for my props, but the 310s are pretty high off the ground. There is a lot of gravel in the taxiways, which was another worry (picking up nicks from rocks). A Piper Comanche 400 decided they would take the time to inhabit the fuel island while I was taxing to turn around. He then conveniently learned he was unable to start his engine, so I had to wait even longer. This was both rude and ridiculous, as you'd think someone with "Lt. Col USAF, Ret" inscribed on the side of his plane wouldn't have these problems. If you have a small light plane with high prop clearance you might like to stop here.

Flew the 17 miles from LDJ and saved over $1.00 per gallon ($75.00+) in my gas hog Mooney. Nice little airport. Older pump and facilities but that doesn't bother me. Lot's of based aircraft tied down, that's good to see.

Stopped in for fuel around midnight after touring a helicopter around the city. It's a great place to get fuel after-hours.

I've been based here since Fall 2010. Great airport for refueling or if you want to fly in for a legit Italian restaurant/pizza/bar experience. All they need is some more hangars and repaving by the fuel area and it can turn into a premier location.

This place has low priced 100LL and the condition of the facility matches the price so I got what I expected so I'm not complaining. No one should expect cheap fuel and a pristine facility. Pizza 'n Pasta are a 3 minute walk from the parking area on the north side of the approach end of runway 25.
