From Bob Chieffo on 19-Jul-2008: I visited 4B0 again a couple days ago. Wow, they've been making a lot of improvements there. New tile floor. Nice leather couches. Awesome air-conditioning ;-) The grounds are getting nicer and nicer too. The new taxiway is handy - and safer. State-of-the art self-service fueling terminal. And still the same friendly, hospitable, staff. I'm so happy to see this small GA airport thriving.
From Timothy Barrett on 12-Nov-2007: I performed my first passenger carrying x/c as a private pilot to this airport yesterday 11/12. I inccured a flat nose wheel and the airport manager helped me get the problem fixed in a matter of minutes. Great help from the manager Jim and the CFI Alan. Thanks guys hope to see you soon.
From Jonathan Delson on 06-Aug-2007: I really enjoy this airport! Its clean, well maintained, and none of the hassles of ALB. The staff is friendly and willing to help. If you're approaching from the south, note that it's just past the train yards. It sometime can be hard to spot amongst all the train tracks!

From John J. Sullivan on 20-Sep-2006: 8SEP06 - I did come back and got the same friendly service. $2/day parking waived with fuel purchase. Rented a car from Enterprise of Ravena online per the recommendation of the Enterprise folks in Ravena in order to get best weekend rate. By phone call to the Ravena office I prearranged for delivery to the airport for my Friday arrival. Called after arrival and car was there in about 15-minutes. Only problem is that the Ravena office is a Monday through Friday operation. Dropped the car off at the airport Sunday and Enterprise recovered it.
From John J. Sullivan on 22-Jul-2006: An exceptionally friendly airport with lots of helpful folks. Certainly a lot different than landing at the municipal airport. There is a major taxiway construction in progress to provide a parallel taxiway. I'll be back.
From Matt Drahzal on 21-Feb-2006: Whenever I am in the area, I look forward to my stop at South Albany. They are a great group of people who run the place, and when I had a small problem people stayed to help and make certain I could get out.
