Flew in today for lunch at Mo's in Old Town. From the airport tie-down area it's about 1 1/4 mile south on Kingwood St. It took us about 25 minutes to walk, it's slightly downhill and a straight shot to the bridge and Old Town. There is a hotel on Kingwood right on the river, under the HWY 101 bridge. Lots to see and do in the Old Town marina & RV area. We took a taxi back, $6.00. Airport overall is in great shape!

Florence is a super cute beach town. The FBO was staffed and offered clean restrooms and 2 crew cars, which require a $10 fee and included gas. I think they were only open till 4 on a Sunday and asked to return the car before then. We had plenty of time to go to downtown have lunch and fly a kite at the beach. The airport is on a cove and can be pretty windy.
