9, 000 ft and 14 miles out, we did the slam-dunk into # 35. Great mountain airport. Had a fowled plug on departure and Brian allowed us to do a quick fix on the ramp. Great facility and great experience for mountain landings and departures.

Mountain flying into Spruce Pine is great fun and keeps me honest as a pilot! (It helps having a great performing airplane). I can't say enough nice things about these folks.
