Great airport and fantastic FBO and staff. Got both my private pilot and instrument rating there and fly back in there whenever I can. Great facility. Great self-serve fuel. All that and Northampton is a great town to visit as well.

Another trip to Northampton and another excellent experience. Self serve fuel worked great, no charge to park our SkyHawk on the ramp for the day and friendly people all around. Just what GA needs more of. We look forward to our next visit. Thanks Northampton.

Found this airport on AirNav on Christmas Eve when we were stranded by the FBO at KBAF closing early and without warning. Landed well after dark. Taxiway and ramp lighting is minimal but adequate, and self-serve pump was a Godsend, worked perfectly. Funny -- lined up to take off and saw a street light off departure end of runway. Visually looks like you're going to fly through the intersection. I was relieved to see the light turn green as we rotated. :-)

Great airport, albeit hard to find. One warning: If you are departing with low ceilings, check the FDC NOTAMS. DO NOT FOLLOW THE PUBLISHED DP ON RWY 14! There is a high ridge about 1 mile from the departure end of RWY 14. The DP points out 80' AGL trees off the departure end, but doesn't mention that they are on a 1000' ridge! The FAA has been informed of this error and issued FDC NOTAM 5 years ago. It has since modified the NOTAM and revised the IAPs, but they seem to have elected not to modify the departure procedure. Be sure you have adequate ceiling and vis if you depart from RWY 14!

This was one of the smaller airports we had landed at recently and were flying a little single engine piston. We were treated like we had rolled out on the ramp at Jackson Hole in a Gulfstream. They had a golf cart take us back out to the plane, used the cart to tow the plane to the pumps, ran back to get us a funnel to dump in the quart of oil, and kept us entertained the whole time. Our rental car was ready and waiting, the bathrooms are clean, and the air conditioning was blowing full blast. A wonderful place to have stopped.

My wife and I love to fly to various airports for a first class day of leisure and lunch. Today we flew into 7B2 for the first time. This is a wonderful place to add to your list of flight adventures. Although the airport is somewhat difficult to find, along with only a 50 foot wide runway, and add to it a Bonanza having a 37 foot wingspan, and a substantial crosswind to add interest, I promise that you will have an interesting experience Once we arrived you will be pleasantly greeted and cared for. Mike (the Manager) who really helped us in our newly discovered airport. He immediately summoned a taxicab to get us into town to and our breakfast/lunch at Sylvester's (who invented the Graham Cracker). All of it was second to none, including our waitress Amanda whose blue eyes detracted from the phenomenal menu. We will definitely be back......................
