We visited Guntersville for national news coverage following the devastating tornadoes last year in our TV News helicopter. For a town and area that was hit hard by the storms, we were worried that we would not be able to find fuel in the area. To our delight, even on the day following the storms, we were greeted by a very helpful airport manager who hand cranked fuel for us, as electricity was not available. The service was fantastic and very much appreciated. We just wish we could have found time to visit longer! A+++++++

This is a fantastic airport! Taxied to the ramp and was met by the lineman promptly with a smile on his face. We were given access to the courtesy car and drove into town to eat at Top O' the River - great restaurant, food is delicious and reasonably priced.

GREAT AIRPORT!!!! We stopped in on the way to Airventure (Oshkosh). Matt was really nice and provided great service. They offered a fuel discount for people on the way to Airventure. The airport is planning an expansion and new runway. I really hope they do not lose the charm of the airport with the remodel. The corner of the FBO has a tower type look to it. I hope they replicate this neat feature on the new building.

Don't miss this gem! Nice airfield staffed by great folks who were very helpful. No self-service fuel just yet, so be careful to observe the open/closed hours of operation. Nice restaurant close by. Lovely scenery along the lake and TN River. We'll be back for sure!

Enroute to Oshkosh, headwinds forced an early fuel stop. Airport wasn't open, but grounds maintenance crew called the airport manager and he was on site within 15 minutes. Very helpful, neat airport and great price for FS. Picturesque lake and approach. Gotta go back for a Splash In.

Great Service!!! We were over flying Guntersville area and radioed its Unicom to ask if they would call XM weather to reactivate our weather data link. We were enroute to an area with forecasts of active thunderstorms. Thanks to their help our Nextrad radar lit back up which made our trip much safer and easier. I look forward to stopping in to buy some fuel from them soon.

This is a great place! Great people and a beautiful airport right on the lake. It even has docks for floatplanes. Matt and Sandy do a great job here!! Guntersville is lucky to have them. Airport has full service and has self-serve coming soon. My wife, toddler son and I will be back for some boating fun. Thank you for helping us out during our family's loss. God Bless!!!

We flew in on May 6 to look at a boat in a nearby marina. They loaned us their courtesy car and were very friendly. Nice airport.

Flew in the second Saturday of this month, found out they have a pancake breakfast - a nice surprise. It was a beautiful day, over 15 experimental aircraft there, good food, they ask for donations only. Excellent approach to 21 over the water.

A nice airport. The attendant made an effort to fuel our aircraft expeditiously. Airport car took us into town for some excellent Mexican food at Teresa's. Quick stop, good fuel price.

Flew into Guntersville to find a heavy cloud bank right over the water and airport. Circled for several minutes and cleared enough to drop in. Matt, the new manager, was fantastic sharing info on the town, park and restaurants. Fuel was inexpensive and the hospitality great. Will be back to bring the wife and do some fishing and camping. Don't forget to give Pugsy a back scratch.

Flew into Guntersville in a Mooney and stayed for 2 hours. Beautiful area, quiet airport. The FBO lent us the crew car for our stay. Taxied to the fuel pump for a full-service fueling (no self-service); there's a fuel truck but it carries jet fuel. Very pleasant experience; we'll return when we can stay longer.
