Same arrangement as in 2010 - Cash or Checks only. Very nice lady runs the office. She has to be there to activate the pump for you. You fill the plane. Supposedly the fuel tanks and delivery system are to be updated by the flying club based there. Nice stop but Be Sure to Call Ahead and assure there will be someone there. Apparently no one is there normally on Mon and Tue. Cell phone is posted on the door. She will come out if called.
You may want to call first to verify fuel price and if someone will be there. My fault as I didn't; fuel price was updated 12 days ago and I showed up today and fuel price is 25 cents higher than updated price of 12 days ago. Arrived around 1230 afternoon to FBO and no one is there (no SS pumps), called numbers on door and attendant said went to lunch and was returning. She got there and informed me that fuel sales are cash or check (course I had neither on me), but she was very very nice to take me to a ATM prior to pumping. She said city wouldn’t put a credit card machine in office as not enough business to warrant one. Attendant did say she would come out after hours being she only lived approx 5 minutes from FBO. I would stop there again if flying through but would call first for arrangements!
