Magnum Aviation has been trying, and as of this date, succeeding in bringing fuel prices down. Maintenance performed in their shop seems to be of high quality. Mark their IA heads the shop and along with Andrew and others put out a good product. I have noticed a marked improvement on the airport grounds since Magnum’s arrival.

I use E16 regularly for trips into San Jose. The Staff is wonderful in arranging for rental cars, and has always had a cheerful attitude on our visits. A nice change from RHV! We will keep coming back.

Magnum Aviation had provided me top-notch quality work on my plane. I got quality work from a group of dedicated mechanics under the expert direction of Mark their IA. Thanks to Mark and his crew they have saved me a ton of money and provided me a safe ride in the sky! I would like to see the SS Fuel come down another 44 cents/gal to be in line with other nearby airports though.

Definitely seeing a change for the better at E16 since Magnum has come. The ramp area by Magnum has been finally repaved. The service at the front counter is very friendly and inviting. Had recent maintenance / annual done there and the maintenance staff were always responsive.

The local pilots are friendly and the self-serve pump works. Nobody answered the Unicom and the lady at the front desk did not seem happy to see us. They supposedly do have fuel by truck, as well as self-serve.

Response from Jody Delmue, Magnum Aviation, Inc.
To Philip Greenspun: We apologize for not greeting you in a manner that made you feel welcome. Sincerely, The Ladies at The Front Desk (Jody, Sandra, Michelle)

From Larry Fernandes on 20-May-2006
Magnum Aviation has provided me with kind and friendly service. The repairs they've made to the taxiways are a welcomed site. The fuel prices have sent pilots scurrying to neighboring airports a situation we hope they remedy soon.
