We flew in on the 4th of July and the guy who manned the Unicom was very helpful and friendly. He helped me gas up the plane and even helped me push it into a parking space even though it was near 100 degrees out.

Stopped in a Robinson R44. The guy attending the airport pumped the gas for us. Maria Langer, a local helicopter tour pilot, took us out for lunch at the golf course/dude ranch (good salads). A friendly place, albeit quiet and hot in the summer.

Was there Memorial Day 5/28/2007 and both Jet-A and 100LL were self-serve. Fuel truck parked nearby, but no one attending it. All operations and restrooms were closed for holiday or because it was 1830. Self serve worked just fine for 100LL and price was 3.9900.

Our business hours are 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Local, 365 days a year. We never open late, we never close early. The rest rooms are accessible 24/7 by using the old CTAF frequency namely four digits: 1228. We are right across the field at the paint shop 7:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. And of course we are pay at the pump 24/7. Thank you for the compliments.

Master Aircraft has just taken over the fuel service concession at Wickenburg. They offer great service and a nice low price.
