As an owner of an aircraft on the field I take exception to the slanted comments by Mr. Smith. He has come in several times before and after the comment posted below, stayed several nights on a tiedown and left without even coming in the terminal. If you want great fuel prices at a field outside of DFW class B, Rockwall is the place. As everywhere in life, courtesy is appreciated.

Rockwall has typically been a good stop for me. An easy in and out, no frills stop. Good fuel prices considering the location. However, today was an exception, I called to have the airplane topped off three hours before departure. The response was "I'll see what I can do." Arriving at the airport to leave, the aircraft had been fueled as requested, however the manager/lineman seemed almost irritated that I had wasted his time for 'only' 65 gallons and that he had to run my credit card. He sealed the deal by tacking on parking fees for several nights...Not something you typically find on top of a fuel bill. I hope this was a one time thing, a temporary employee, or just a fluke with the bad weather. But for the time being, I'll stick to other airports in the metroplex that seem happy to have myself, my passengers, and my business.

Great/friendly service. It is what you expect from a smaller airport. Good hospitality, cheap fuel (1/2 of any of the metroplex airports), and a great atmosphere. Things were run down a little, but overall great place! Be careful of powerlines on approach to rwy 17!

I am in a Fort Worth flying club that regularly takes its planes across the metoplex to be serviced here. Reason? Eddie simply knows more than most AP's and he does what he promises.
