Pay attention to the "GROUND ACCESS BY PERMISSION ONLY", as permission is not easily obtained. We'd planned to fly to F47 from Michigan and be met by our daughter who'd rented a beach house on the Island (but not in the gated community where F47 is located), but weather turned our flight into a long drive instead. While on the Island, though, we wanted to check out the airport, but were denied access even when we explained our reason for wanting to look at the field. As it turns out, our daughter would NOT have been able to pick us up at the airport, so we're glad we learned this now rather than later. If you're flying to the area, stick with KAAF if you don't know someone in the Plantation.
