18-Oct.-2007 Great airport friendly people .Ed the airport manager is an AI with good experience and reasonable prices. He will go out of his way to make your stop enjoyable and comfortable. The fuel prices are reasonable compared to other locations. There are no cars available or restaurants within walking distance. There are good snacks and drinks available to hold you over. The airport has had a extension added on making it close to 4800'long .The facility is clean and nice giving it a A+.

Definitely a very friendly little country airport. The manager, Ed, is very helpful and also an A&P. Fuel is relatively cheap and the facility is nice. There is no car or restaurants in walking distance but there are plenty of snacks to get you by. Also, the new runway expansion offers over 4800'.

Called ahead to see if they took Visa and had fuel to which they did. Arrived to find no car available to go into town for food. No snacks either. Not very friendly so I bought just enough fuel to make my next stop.

Hardin County (Kenton, OH) is a great place to get gas...Lowest prices around, and Eddie is always attentive. No SS, but 8-6 hours. I stopped while at 56D on vacation. Friendly fuel stop...
