I had an Angel Flight out of Reno and we arrived after hours. Rich and the furry welcoming committee we're waiting for us and got the plane fueled for a quick turnaround. Great people and a nice little FBO. A word of caution at AAT - the runway markings are faded and not visible.

What a great stop! This is the kind of sleepy rural airport that this country needs more of. My wife and I stopped by KAAT for the weekend of September 19/20, 2009. Rich and his two dogs, Samson and Delilah, were super-friendly. Rich helpfully fueled our aircraft long after hours on a Sunday, with no extra charge. We needed a car for the whole weekend, so we rented one through Pioneer Auto Body (in town.) If you plan on stopping for lunch, there are plenty of options in town -- about a mile walk, or a 5-minute drive in the courtesy car. We will definitely be back!

I diverted a flight to KAAT Wednesday April 1 due to WX north, where I was heading. Rich said he was glad I tied down, the only plane visible on the field, because "it made the place look like an airport". I rented a car to drive home. Saturday, April 4, I drove the rental back to AAT. Rich said he'd pick me up at the rental outfit & he did. He tried, to no avail, to re-inflate my sagging nose strut, bloodying his hand in the process. I flew out w/o fixing the strut. I really appreciate Rich's help!

Rich & his dog Sampson are the best. Let us pitch our tent on his lawn. Courtesy car, bikes, clean air & restrooms. Good food in town. Bike thru wildlife preserve, visit Maxwell's Nursery (like an arboretum), kick back & relax! Steal one of their pens & get a fuel discount!

Great hospitality! Make sure to go in to town and eat at the "Wagon Wheel." The chicken fried steak is homemade and the best I've had.

Great place, friendly people and very helpful. Provided us a loaner car and a map. Several good places to eat in town.

Great place to stop; super friendly and helpful folks. Fuel is reasonably priced and they give a discount if you have a pen. Great crew car and good food in town. Primo stop if you're in the area.
