Flew in for Superbowl weekend to stay with some friends. Planned to stay two nights; $12/night for the ramp = not bad. But when I went to leave on Sunday and discovered that my starter had gone bad, the line service bent over backwards to help me and the office staff was equally helpful in use of the facilities and getting me in touch with the right people to solve my problem. Thanks, guys!

If only 'Boss Man' would agree to go to XLL! :-( Again, they can't find me in 'their system' having me fill out their silly information cards. 'Young Stud' @ front desk has no concept of 'customer service' ... Good luck w/ that attitude while you sit R seat on a Lear hauling bags, cleaning the Lav & fetching catering! Line guys are inconsistent, trying to give ground guide signals in the pitch dark w/o lighted wands (which are readily available inside the front door ... Working ... W/ batteries) and I'm not talking about on the lighted portion of the ramp. I don't know if this poor attitude is a 'City/County Employee' thing, an 'Allentown' thing or what. Possibly some of the worst service (consistently) up and down the E Coast ... All for $90 a visit! Again, do your best to use XLL instead of these guys (even though they are run by the same org).

Came in on Sunday in a CAP C-182. Fuel truck was there as we shut down and they fueled us to the "tabs" as we requested. Fuel was pretty high, but service was prompt and friendly. No ramp fees for landing fees for our stay (about 45 mins).

I arrived 8P on a Sunday, diverting due to Thunderstorms. The line guy was right out front directing me, and the fuel truck pulled up within seconds as well to see if I needed fuel. Very nice interior with a PC and WSI in the flight planning room, and comfortable chairs in the pilot lounge for me to wait out the storm. Fuel is pricey. There were no charges for the Bonanza.

Decent experience. They are the only FBO at the airport, but good facilities, and efficient service. Good experience!

We checked on 11/9 and again on 11/10 prior to this trip to make sure there were no "Signature" type fees and were told $10 landing; $10 overnight, period. When we landed, we were told $15 landing; $15 overnight. OK, fine. When we departed on 11/12, we were threatened with a $150 "handling fee, " forcing us to buy 100 gallons of totally unnecessary fuel. Total deception. Never again. There are plenty of nearby fields with better fuel pricing and staff who honestly state their policy up front.

Frustrating service ... On my 4th visit (and possibly final visit ... Going to try Queen City - XLL next time) and filling out their a/c info cards, I was FINALLY inputted into their computer system. At least I don't have to fill out their cards anymore! Made simple recommendations to their Line Service Mgr ($2 fix) in order to prevent Jet A from flowing down the side of my a/c while they refuel me (and then me/my pax smelling Jet A all the way home - not to mention making Al Gore upset with spilled fuel!). Recommendation not acted on. Hertz is inconsistent at best, incompetent at worst. Unless you own Hertz stock, I would highly recommend using Enterprise, however the desk personnel don't recommend that when calling and inquiring about rental cars. Enterprise is not listed on AirNav for the FBO; only Hertz is.

Lehigh Valley Aviation operates a great facility: large, clean, and well equipped. The staff treated us like we arrived in a Gulf rather than our Diamond DA40, brewing fresh coffee and giving us a ride to the nearby Hilton. Though it is Class C, ABE offers easy arrival/departure for singles.

Great FBO was met promptly by line and fuel for quick turnaround in cold December dawn. Passengers expressed gratitude toward the employees who kept them informed. Will be back again for all future needs.
