FIVE STARS!!! We landed our helicopter at Ada for an overnight stay and the gentlemen at Heartland took great care of us. Fueled us up and gave us a car to take for the evening. They offered up some hangar space for our helicopter and while we opted to leave our ship outside for the night, they told us to call anytime of the night if weather came in and we changed our mind. These guys really understand what customer service is all about.

Dropped in on Sept 6 2011. Great service! I wish I would have gotten the guys' names, but the two that helped me were prompt and courteous. Watch out for the "ninja cowboy". Inside joke...

I called beforehand to ask about any good places to eat in Ada. The man who answered at Heartland Aviation pointed us to Blue Moon Cafe, about 2 miles from the airport. Since the FBO was closing, he was kind enough to leave the key to the courtesy car for our use! Great FBO! The food was very good too. 5 stars for Heartland Aviation.

11 July 2011: Another business trip to Ada and more exceptional service from HEARTLAND AVIATION. This time I arrived later than expected and the courtesy car was spoken for. The lone employee offered his personal vehicle so I would not miss my gig. Folks, the young man did not have to do that. Also, as I was changing clothes in the pilot lounge, my drivers license fell out of my shirt pocket. I didn't miss it until the next day. I called HEARTLAND AVIATION asking for them to be on the lookout. A few minutes later my phone rang and he had it in hand and agreed to drop it in the mail pronto. Sadly, this rare type of neighborliness is part of a syndrome I call "The Vanishing America". Thanks to the folks at HEARTLAND AVIATION for maintaining the service we are beginning to miss.

FANTASTIC-Purchased Cessna 177 in Calif going to N.C. The engine suddenly began surging 200-300 RPM. Hit nearest on the GPS: ADA 7 miles. Made emergency landing. Diagnosis was bad prop governor. The folks at Heartland Aviation were unbelievable! On a Saturday afternoon, they searched and found a part in Tulsa (100 miles away). Danny Davis of Heartland Aviation flew to Tulsa in his Baron at no charge, got the part. They gave my mechanic all the tools he needed. Dave Musgraves was great also. THANK YOU!!!!!

If this is the same as HEARTLAND AVIATION at KADH, I have a pleasant experience to relate. My wife and I stepped out of the Skyhawk and were greeted by a helpful Dave Musgrave. Dave was quite friendly as he fixed us up with a courtesy car (with great A/C) and offered to give us directions if we were not familiar with the area. We had to make a couple of business stops in Ada and the experience at HEARTLAND AVIATION made it a pleasant trip. We highly recommend this FBO.
