Reason for making the comment: 4/22 was in very good condition, not fair as AirNav lists. FBO in nice shape, self-serve easy, restaurant above the FBO, very nice and helpful tower controller. The FBO staff didn't offer any help when we walked in, but it was New Year's Day and we did use the self-serve pump, which may have been the reason. Nice overall stop.

Great FBO! Came in just as they where closing- ALL the staff stayed to make sure we got settled and even fueled our plane. The plane needed to be moved off the ramp, as it was really busy (B17 EAA and ABQ Balloon Festival that weekend). At the recommendation of the staff we got up early and saw the morning balloon lift off. How great was that! The crew car was fine. Food was good. Pilot Flight Room was professional, wifi worked, printer worked. Perfect place for a cross country. Only issue: crew car was on E (I don't mean low- I mean chug, cough, push low. Not Bode's fault as it was really the previous smuck that didn’t toss in a few gallons. We coasted to a gas station (Bode folks had already left for the night). Nice long runways, good ATC, reasonable fuel (we used full on the way in and self on the way out). Oh one last random thing- the self serve receipt printers are inop.

Without a doubt the finest FBO in the world! I fueled my Citabria at the self fuel docks but was treated no differently than the next pilot in a Citation. I was given the crew car for the night, full access to all snacks, computers, lounge, etc and great directions and recommendations for hotels, restaurants, etc. This is by far the best experience of all FBO's I've visited. Fuel might be a little higher than other areas, but well worth the stop.

Absolutely phenomenal facilities and customer service! Stopped twice for fuel from Vegas to Dallas then back, very quick polite service and a fair fuel price with no fees and a great facility. On the way back the Bendix on my starter was sticking; Stuart the A&P promptly came out put my Mooney in the hangar and had me on my way in 30 or so minutes and ONLY charged a very fair $22 for the repair! Theses guys and gals are AWESOME and I will be back for sure!! Thank you Bode!!!

Arrived at Double Eagle on December 29th and departed on January 2nd. We used KAEG in lieu of Santa Fe (our final destination) due to Santa Fe Jet Center's preposterous Jet-A fuel price and inhibition of comments being posted on AirNav. Bode personnel (line and desk) were very accommodating and efficient. Rental car was ready, hangaring was quickly arranged and fueling was accomplished in a professional manner. We look forward to using Bode's services in the future.

If flying x-country do yourself a favor and stop at another airport if you can. If I would have checked AirNav I would have seen that the self-serve fuel is still inop as it was 4 months ago when I stopped. When buying 100 gals it makes a big difference. Restaurant on field not worthy of note.

Looks like the other reviews are all on target for Bode. I flew in for the 1st weekend of the Balloon festival in Bonanza 8743A. I planned to fly to ABQ but saw on the web about great "family owned" service at Bode and Double Eagle. I have to say I was impressed. Your ramp support was amazing!!! (I feel bad I didn't grab the gentleman's name or give him a tip, as I was in a hurry to head home to beat the thunderstorms. Truly impressive/friendly/and enthusiastic ramp crew and wonderful support in the office. The crew car was a great add to the experience!

Called in to get some general info (Renee) and by the end of my call I had a hotel (last room in town) and rental car booked. Arrived for the balloon festival that afternoon and was impressed with the process that got us on our way fast. Oil and fuel were quickly replenished and a lineman was always attentive during preflight. BalloonFestival traffic is another story. I recommend stopping here, they will do what it takes to make for an easy trip

Top notch organization and facilities--John Bode and his staff took outstanding care of us all the way from coordinating a rental car, handing us the keys when we arrived, to bedding down the airplanes in their hangar. When it was time for us to depart we arrived to see our airplanes on the ramp ready to go. OUTSTANDING customer service and support--we'll be back.

Arrived 10/03. Line staff immediately met me during taxi in. Rental car was waiting. Flew out 10/4 and returned 10/5. Line staff remembered us and was very friendly and accommodating. Rental car we got on first arrival was held over for us. Fuel requests were handled quickly. Bode Aviation has always provided great friendly, efficient service.

We made prior rental car reservations with Bode Aero and our car was ready upon arrival. The self-serve pump is easy to use (although expensive) and the overnight fee was waived even though they like to provide FS pumping with transients. Service was prompt and courteous.

No complaints! (Other than the fuel prices in NM). Dropped in for fuel and food. They had me turned around fast. They have a decent restaurant on the 2nd floor. There's an old guy running the restaurant (kind of looks like James Earl Jones) - and his company was very welcome :-).

My generator quit over Santa Rosa and I flew the rest of the way in on battery power. A Bode mechanic isolated the problem quickly and found the corroded field terminal lug. Replaced it, and I was on my way to Page AZ in less than an hour.

Pretty nice airport. Helpful linemen. Tower easy to work with. Cannot figure out why 100LL is so expensive compared to the rest of the country. Check the Aviation Fuel link on this website and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Renee and Nicki (sp?) are top notch. Renee was extremely helpful with reserving a car and printing up options for kid friendly activities. Nicki was very accommodating to my family during our departure. Both ladies went above and beyond to make our quick Albuquerque trip fun and memorable. If needing a hotel room, AEG has room rate discounts with a few hotels around.

Stopped in 6/12/2009. Wanted to stay for the night. No transportation to any hotel. Their fuel price was the most that I paid in more than 3300 miles on this trip. $4.99 for self serve. Went to another airport.

Great airport and great service! Arrived late at night in January and were given a ride to hotel. In summer, my wife and I landed there on a very hot day and lineman greeted us at the airplane with two ice-cold bottles of water! Made our day! Will always arrange a stop there on flights between PA and AZ or CA!

Absolutely amazing customer service! We had a stopover in Albuquerque and decided to tie down at Bode for a few nights due to weather. We have a little 2 seat Grumman but were treated as if we had rolled up in a Citation. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and professional. The folks at Bode helped to make this one of the most enjoyable stops on our cross country from Reno to Houston.

Flew into to refuel on April 24. Self-serve was not working but no sign indicating this. Finally was told by staff that it was inoperative. Staff was very friendly and charged same price as self serve. They need to flag the self-serve as inop. They could also carry more instrument charts. Overall, nice clean place.

We stopped in our N900NE Turbo Commander couple days ago and had great service, fuel price and friendly, helpful staff. Easy in and out, rather than ABQ Sunport, if the hours match your needs. And their hours are longer than many smaller-airport FBO facilities. Very nice accommodations for passengers, with very Southwesty deco, Internet access, etc.

Over approximately the last year or so I have been pursuing my airplane ratings with Bode Aviation. Unfortunately, I have found their customer service and the maintenance of their rental fleet to be poor. I experienced an almost 40% cancellation rate due to aircraft maintenance problems, and an overall lack of interest from the staff in working with me to help complete my training. If you have a choice, I recommend you go elsewhere.

We made a visit to NM on Sunday, March 1st for the day and parked and fueled with Bode Aero. The service was very good as we were met on arrival and offered a crew car. Very friendly staff and the fuel was as advertised at $4.24 per gallon for 100LL. The terminal was clean and comfortable with computerized weather and a visitor lounge area. I will continue to use Bode Aero in the future!
