Stopped just as they were closing. The man kept the FBO open while I refueled at the self-service pump, filed a new flight plan, and relaxed for a while. The facilities are new and clean. The folks in Afton all seem to be friendly. My wife even found a very cool fabric store in town the last time we stopped there. This is a great place to stop for fuel.

I loved flying into Afton. I called ahead to make sure that there was a car there for me to take to a wedding. I flew in after hours but they still helped me get the car. I love this place and wish you all best of luck with all your doings. Thanks again!

I can't believe what Victor is saying here! I have a second home in the area and frequent this FBO once or twice a month. I've found the staff very responsive and this is one of the nicest FBO's and runways in the area! Fuel is cheapest by far as well. If Victor would read the info here, he would notice that the FBO isn't open when he was trying to get service. It also shows here in black and white that the discount on fuel only comes through Full Service. If you use self-service, you get the posted price there. I've also found the manager to be one of the most knowledgeable and honest people I know. I would recommend this stop to everyone. Quite honestly, I'm surprised that anyone actually goes to Jackson and gets ripped off when they could drop their passengers and come back here to Afton and get better service at more than $2.00 a gallon cheaper!

If I had a choice I would not go back. Prices for fuel not as advertised. FBO said AirNav did not update in time. Also you can not get AirBoss prices if you come in on Saturday afternoon or Sunday. You can't just show up and expect what you read on the AirNav site. Buyer beware!!!!!!

We had a very positive experience at Afton. So much so we bought a lot, hangar and house at the new Afton Airpark. This is the most congenial FBO and neighbors we have found around the country. The FBO has beautiful facilities and the friendliest staff. The new 18 hole Johnnie Miller designed golf course next door will be finished soon so Afton will have more amenities to draw folks in.

The best cross-country stop in Wyoming. The runway and taxiways are in excellent condition, the FBO had all the amenities you need, and the fuel prices are usually the lowest in the state. The friendly airport manager even offered to pump the gas at the self-serve for us. Courtesy car and restrooms available 24/7.

As I remember, runway was in great condition. Seemed to be newly paved. Stopped in for gas on the way to Jackson Hole, airport was unattended, but restroom was open and self-serve fuel was open. Great, non-crowded airport with a beautiful FBO... Great for a quick gas stop.
