Someone has been reading or just acting differently. I have been into AFW several times in my Mooney Ovation 2. I have always had good desk service and usually good line service. This trip, both were very good. Met me at the line, parked me in front of the door, helped me carry my files in and pulled my rental car up to the front door, running. No complaints here!

I have landed here many times out of necessity. If I have a choice, I go to Denton. Let's see...You spend over $500 on Avgas and still are dinged $20 for an overnight fee. The girl at the counter will not waive it. This is not a GA friendly airport. Fuel is pricey, even with the "weekend" discount. Alliance is not open all night so if you land after 10 pm, you are locked inside the gate.

Flew in with my Arrow for a two day seminar near by. Was banged with a $40 tiedown fee for the two days. I even had to go untie my own airplane too.

Great experience at Alliance. The gals at the desk were helpful and my fuel order was taken care of quickly. Bottled water for the next leg of the flight at no extra charge too. If I visit Fort Worth again, I'll stop at Alliance.

Nascar weekend hauling a Nascar driver in our Columbia 400. Asked for a top off, they came up around 18 gal short, asked for O2, they didn't bother, tried to pay for the fuel, they lost the ticket. Dropped car keys off for Eddie Gossage (president of the speedway) behind the desk, they lost them! We travel 30 airports a year on the circuit and the service here is the worst I have seen yet. When we bring our jet service is great, go figure! Would rather see fat hairy guys doing a good job than gorgeous young ladies making excuses for the company!

Pulled up to get a GraceFlight patient and no linemen were to be seen. They later appeared and complained about where I parked. I wasn't there long enough to get service - just long enough to get a complaint.
