The line staff at Million Air especially Gerry went out of their way to assist in getting our passenger form the wheel chair into the cabin of the 414. I've never dealt with a more helpful crew than the ones at Million Air Albany. Million Air took care of EVERY need, including giving us a ride into town for lunch. After parking and speaking to the desk clerk I realized that I was at the wrong place... They still had me pay the $20.00! The facilities and people are outstanding (check out the cinema room after your flight). I was given a 2008 5 series BMW as a loaner and was told to keep it for three hours. Not often I get to drive a car worth more then my aircraft. Ramp fee of 18 dollars was waived with 10 gallons of fuel at a good price. All the staff, from the line to the desk, is very good. The facility is beautiful, and big surprise, the prices are reasonable. I paid $4.99/gallon (tax included) for avgas on 3/13/08, a full dollar a gallon cheaper than what I paid in Buffalo at Prior when I started the day. The $20 ramp fee is waived with 10 gallons of fuel. I live 50 miles north and when I fly commercially I leave from Albany. When I arrive in my Skyhawk, they give me the same level of attention and service, which you'd expect them to save for the bigger customers. Fuel is reasonable, wasn't charged a ramp fee with a 20-gallon purchase. Plenty of amenities for pilots. The $20 landing fee is waved with 8 gallons of 100LL. However the lovely lady at the counter allowed me to go with my tanks only taking on 5 gallons. The Hertz 800 number couldn't arrange a one-way car rental to BTV but Alisha at the front desk managed it for me locally. They had cars on the field and I was on my way in 30 minutes. Very reasonable fuel prices and overnight fees.   From Cole Loftus on 01-Oct-2007 I used the self-serve fuel pump, had to swipe my card twice to fill up the 310, as there's a $250 limit per transaction. Receipts did not print. Million Air counter people told me that the pumps do not belong to them, even though they're listed on AirNav under Million Air. They helped me get receipts faxed from the municipality, to whom the pumps belong. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. Although we came in Cirrus and just needed some 16 gal of fuel, we were treated first class. They even gave us a ride to the hotel. Many thanks! Million Air provided this. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. In and out in about an hour and a half, with services. Same desk person asked for "$30 or 30 gallons". Mentioned registering last time through to avoid future fees. "No, the fee is waived just the one time you register." But it wasn't waived; it was $20 last time. "Well, then it was reduced." Previous comment about good, friendly service is all true. Worth adding that Million Air's KALB facility is really beautiful inside and out and well equipped for wx and flight planning. When I diverted due to weather last week, I radioed Million Air no more than 10 to 15 minutes out, asking the helpful young lady to find me a rental car. When I taxied up in the rain, the car met me planeside and linemen held umbrellas while we exited. These people know what they're doing and act like they care. The hotel shuttle didn't keep their commitment so Jane arranged for a lineman to take my party in. I flew them home sat am and returned for the afternoon game. Jane got the hotel shuttle there on time. Way to go. Reasonable fees and fuel. Great attention. By the way, my daughter really liked the bags of popcorn particularly the big one. Parked at Million Air. Was going to keep the plane parked on the ramp for 2 nights ($20 ramp fee + $10 per night tiedown). Frost was forecast so the ramp personnel suggested keeping the plane in the hangar ($30 per night) which seemed like a better deal. Did refuel, no break on the fees though. Great service, people friendly.
