I recently stopped in at this airport just to visit the Annual Iowa Irish Festival on 8/6/11. My friend's band was up from Dallas and was going to start at 3:15. I had called first earlier in the day to make sure I would be able to use either a courtesy car or a cab to get to the event (about 5 or so miles). When I got there about 3:00, the two cars were already being used, and a cab would have taken about an hour. When the three employees on duty, Zach, Nate, and Pam saw my plight, Pam quickly volunteered to drive me over! These folks went above and beyond to accommodate me. I was extremely grateful. Upon my return, I filled up with gas and was on my way back to the Chicago area. Although the price of fuel seemed a little high (5.95 for 100LL, compared to 5.35 at my home airport outside Chicago), it was worth it to get the quick, personal, and professional care that I received from Livingston. Waterloo Airport is a very nice airport also, with very little traffic during my visit.

I called 3 days ahead to let them know we were coming. I was told since our ETA was after 2130 there would be a $60/hr overtime charge for someone to be there to hand us the keys to the rental cars. That was acceptable and I informed them we would be there at 2200. Upon arrival I was told I needed to pay the overtime right then and that it would be not $60 but $120 because there were two employees working past 2130. I refused explaining to them I had only requested one person and that I would not need any other services until my departure in 2 days. Their excuse was they weren’t told. I paid the $60. Then upon departure 2 days later and after I was fueled, I asked for a bill/invoice and was presented a pencil written meter ticket from the fuel truck that only showed the number of gallons, not the cost. Later I asked again and was shown the same and when I gave up I just handed them the CC, which cost an extra .05/gal to use. This was a very poorly ran operation.

I have spent the past 10 days at this FBO completing accelerated flight training. Aside from receiving some of the most professional instruction available, I have had a chance to become intimately familiar with their day to day operations. Aircraft that range from Cherokee 140s through 737-BBJs come onto the ramp and each one is treated with the same professional and prompt service. Each aircraft is handled with the utmost in care, fuel is provided when needed, and everyone does a great job at making sure the customer is happy. They truly care about the customer and their service shows that customer service is still alive and well. The facilities are top notch with all of amenities any corporate or private pilot would need including bunkroom, shower facility, lounge, flight planning, and crew car. Aside from the personnel, the tower and approach facilities are also second to none and deal with any weather or situation professionally. Big towered airport services with a personal touch.

We stopped here in a CJ2 for a quick fuel stop and that's exactly what we received from Charlie and Taylor. It was an 18-minute turn, from touch down to takeoff, including the top off and bag of ice. You can't get much faster than that – we would definitely use Livingston Aviation and services from Charlie and Taylor again on a cross-country trip.

Have flown in here several days a week for the last several years. Consistently the best FBO I have ever done business with. Extremely nice and hard working staff.. Truly a "model" FBO.

Great place to stop. Here today in our Turbo Commander N900NE and had 'best of' service and fuel price. Friendly and helpful staffing throughout. Thank for a great job filling our needs.

Flew in on a Friday afternoon. Quickly fueled the plane and let us use the crew car. Awesome, friendly service!
