Back to KAND yesterday and another great stop. Filled up with 32gal and borrowed the car for a trip into town. Staff was very friendly and helpful if needed. I'll be back if in the area.

Super friendly ramp employees, incredible 100LL price and was provided courtesy car to the local subway. Will return!!

Stopped there Monday to drop off some Amateur Radios for repair at a local repair shop. Called ahead and arranged for crew car for the 6-mile trip. Everyone was GREAT. Linda got me the keys and we were off. Was back in 40 mins. Going back later this week to pick them up and will fill up with fuel this time.

Arrived at KAND on March 23, 2013. There is a sign when entering the ramp telling you exactly where to park and good tiedowns waiting. We had arranged for a rental car through Enterprise but there was no car there. The line staff was more than helpful making several calls trying to get us a car. When they couldn't find us an open rental center they offered the courtesy car for our use overnight. Came back the next morning, Sunday and dropped the car off. The line staff was very friendly and talked to us about the area and places to see. The entire trip was to find retirement property and was our first to the area. Tuesday we came back to the airport to do some flight seeing since the flight in had been IFR we hadn't gotten a look from the air while coming in. We paid for the initial fueling and were given 2 nights tiedown free. Tiedown is only $5.00 a night. When we came back they were ready to top us off again for our trip back home. This is by far one of the friendliest FBO's.

I have always had wonderful service from the Anderson staff and the fact that they have a separate ramp for small airplanes makes perfect sense and suits me just fine. The last thing I need is my airplane being blown across the ramp by a large jet. And by the way, the larger turbine aircraft land at KAND often. I've counted four beautiful jets today alone. Keep up the great work and don't mind the rare negative feedback. You and your staff are doing a fine job.

I have used Anderson as a training airport for years. Good approaches, light traffic, good fuel prices. I will not continue after the experience today. Parked a G3 Cirrus on the empty ramp to meet a student. During our preflight briefing, an employee came by and informed me that, in the future, I was to use the side ramp. The new, massive concrete ramp was for Turbine only. A few points: 1. Anderson is a small community and does not have extensive jet traffic. 2. The new ramp was paid for with a large Federal grant and some matching funds from taxpayers 3. No one ever comes out to marshall anyone, so how does one know where to park? 4. Yesterday, we landed at Dulles, were parked with the big iron and treated just as well as any other customer. I suppose we aren't important enough for the fine folks at Anderson 5. I will share this with to Cirrus Owners group and my clients so that they won't make the mistake of coming where they are not good enough to park out front.

Diverted here in a Citation after storms closed down Pickens. The runways and facilities are nice. I asked about hangars and was told, "Don't worry, we will take care of you." I asked 3 times for a price and finally was told that if "I filled up, they would put me in a hangar." All of that evaporated when I came to pay the bill. Hangars are $250/night and the ramp fee is $125 for jets (unless you buy 150 gal.) Ramp parking is $35/night. The way that the FBO manager attempted to resolve the bill left me very uncomfortable about his integrity. The airport manager ultimately agreed to settle the bill in a way that left us both dissatisfied--so it was probably fair. I don't mind paying a fair price but I so mind being misled. The prices are all posted in small print on a board in the FBO office so ask, ask, ask until they tell you what they are. After my experience, I cannot give this airport very high marks.

Been flying Jets for 24years. Filling in for a friend on a Baron. Stopped at AND for a quick turn due to fuel price and previous experience on jet trips there. Asked for airport advisory. No info just a garbled park next to the $#@!&% plane. Taxied in and parked in obvious transit area by the only other plane on a very large ramp. Fuel truck standing by. Great right? Pulled up by truck. No one parked us.... Well.... The head lineguy greeted the passenger and I with "You parked in the wrong place, this is for Jet Fuel Burners only". "The boss is going to be mad". And pointed to the old ramp around back and said he was going to tow me. I said, "No not going to happen, I'll crank up and go elsewhere". Jet or 100LL next time I will go elsewhere. Maybe he should try "Welcome to Anderson, how may we assist you".

After sleeping in a heated hangar for it's entire life we were subjected to below average temps for our AM departure. After several tries, they pulled me into a heated maintenance hangar and gave us the quick warm-up. We were off and running about 30 minutes later. The response and professionalism was above and beyond what we would have expected. Fuel here has always been a bit lower priced than most but the service I would rank higher than most. Keep it up!

Brand new large concrete ramp...With no tiedowns. Nobody to marshall. Nobody would answer on Unicom. Taxied around until I found some anchors without chains or ropes off the new ramp away from the terminal...Fortunately had my own tiedowns as a TSTM was approaching. FBO worker inside stated they don't monitor the FBO Unicom frequency (122.95) and aren't allowed to talk on CTAF (123.6). She did offer ride back to our plane but we had already carried our bags in. Hopefully Anderson will get their act together? I'll be trying other options...

Came in late on a Saturday night. SS fuel pump worked great, and the restrooms are accessible even though the FBO and terminal are closed. Worked fine for a quick turn stop.

This was my first visit to KAND and I will be back. Nice FBO and friendly service. Because the courtesy car was being used, the airport manager offered me his car for a food run into town. Paid $4.19700 per gallon of 100LL for full service.
