Our experience with Aviation Center was 5-star. Mark and everyone else were very attentive, had our rental car ready when we arrived, and Mark was especially helpful in arranging our hotel accommodations. We definitely consider them among the top tier of the many FBOs that we have visited from coast to coast. As we look forward to our next visit there, we are happy to recommend them to our pilot colleagues.

My visit to Aviation Center for service on my SR22 was a pleasant experience. My Cirrus was handled in the highest professional manner. The troubleshooting and repairs were outstanding and my logbooks were returned very organized with all service bulletins and AD's researched and noted. I was also advised of all needed repairs in advance by phone. I cannot imagine a more courteous or professional shop to trust my Cirrus to.

I highly recommend Aviation Center at KARB. On a recent trip, they actually kept the place open late for me to pick up a passenger and get fuel. On numerous visits to KARB, they have become among my favorite FBOs nationally.

I visit Ann Arbor two or three times a year and am always impressed by how helpful the manager and staff of the Aviation Center is when I arrive from Miami. If I call in advance, they always have hangar space and a rental car available; during my last visit, they handled a small but critical repair (leaking fuel drain) for me during Michigan's last big football game of the year. I highly recommend them to anyone stopping by ARB.

I fly into Ann Arbor each week in my Bonanza A-36. The flight line for Aviation Center is always there to help part the plane and make sure I am well taken care of. They coordinate my rental car needs and pull the car around to the plane upon my arrival. Fuel prices seem reasonable. They will stay open late (within reason) if you call ahead and will arrange for after hours rental car pick up and drop off. Overall a consistent and great experience!

I just spent my second weekend in Ann Arbor in the last 2 years. Service at Aviation Center was great both times. Met at my plane, helped with luggage, hangared at a very reasonable rate to avoid frost for a morning departure. I will stop here every time I am near.

My son and I are flying around the country visiting as many Major League ballparks as possible. Consequently, we have dealt with many FBOs in many cities. Most have been very good some not so good. Aviation Center at ARB was excellent! Thank you for the true service, for Mark's help in securing a hotel room at a reasonable price and for the very friendly staff. We highly recommend Aviation Center!

My recent trip to Ann Arbor was enhanced by the friendly and competent staff at Aviation Center. They had my Avis rental car ready and drove it out to the plane before I even had the door open, their fuel prices are excellent, and the people are cheerful and helpful. They clearly have a busy rental, training, and repair facility, which is nice to see. I recommend using them on your next trip to the Detroit area.

My wife Kim and I flew into ARB the first time 5/24/2007 and based on the AirNav feedback chose Aviation Center. The feedback was right on! Rental car was waiting at our airplane with the A/C running and all paperwork taken care of ahead of time. The line guys fueled us and moved the airplane to tie downs. The next morning we were pleased with how the airplane was secured and how easy it was to pay and drop the car off. Thanks to Hertz and Aviation Center for great service we will be back. Joe Hesano

I fly into Aviation Center from time to time in my Baron. The line staff and owner (Mark) are always very kind and helpful. They give me rides to and from the local hotel or car rental lot, fuel me promptly and arrange for ground transportation when I need it. Earlier this week, the start on one of my engines went out, and Mark was very helpful in getting it fixed in an hour, so that I could be on my way. A nice group of people that work hard to earn GA business. And, their fuel prices are great for the Detroit area.

Flew into Ann Arbor in a Pilatus PC-12 after hours on Christmas Eve. The FBO manager gave us OUTSTANDING service with a smile. Our passengers needed transportation to the university to pick up a passport and he lent them the FBO vehicle. I needed a ride for my wife and myself to get a snack. He lent his own personal vehicle for us to use. He even pulled the plane into the hangar to defrost the plane and helped wipe it down. Great gas prices and EXCELLENT SERVICE is an UNDERSTATEMENT, it was an AWESOME EXPERIENCE WITH THIS FBO!!!!! We will definitely return soon. Thanks for everything!!!

My wife and I flew from Madison into Ann Arbor at night on Nov. 27 and were immediately greeted by two guys right off of the runway. After getting out, one of them even offered to vacuum the interior (It was a newly purchased 172s rental from KMSN so it was already clean). We had relatives picking us up and they let them drive up to the plane and started transferring our baggage for us. We ended up buying 30 gallons of fuel so maybe the other fees were partially subsidized, but the tie-down fees were $4/night and the hangar fee was $15/night. I will certainly return to Ann Arbor Aviation if/when I return to Ann Arbor. Overall, they provided very quick and professional service, just look for the blue hangar.

We flew in on Nov 28 and were greeted with friendly faces and "down home" hospitality. (Not to mention Obie & Doodle the ever-faithful airport dogs). They not only kept the terminal open for us after-hours, but when we couldn't get a rental vehicle, Mark and the guys went to the trouble of taking the plow off their work truck just so that we would have a vehicle to use. Now that's what I call service! We look forward to coming back again soon!

I regularly come to Ann Arbor (ARB) on business and personal matters. Recently, I used Aviation Center and found their hospitality and service second-to-none. I called before departing and asked about a hangar for the weekend. Upon arrival, the plane was quickly topped-off and carefully placed in the hangar. The FBO is well staffed and has all the services one could ever need. I will make Aviation Center my regular destination at ARB.

Good service and cheap (relative speaking) fuel at $3.89. Enjoyed watching the parrot fly around the office while people were working... had to wait awhile for the fuel ticket to be located, but overall had a good experience. ATC was also helpful with the IFR clearance and expediting our departure.

Great FBO, great people. I was there last week for the third time. Constant good and friendly service. When I left they had a BBQ even with German sausages, which also tasted great. I have been to most of the airports in the Detroit area in the last years. The rental car was always waiting for me. On the road in 15 minutes and 20 minuets to Detroit on I94, This FBO as well as the airport beats all.

I have visited Ann Arbor twice this summer, using Aviation Center both times. They are friendly and helpful, and have very competitive fuel prices. Tie down was $4 per night. Lots of student pilot activity at this FBO; clearly a well-run business. Only negative was the Enterprise rental car; I had to pay for an extra day when I returned the car on Sunday because the local office is closed on Sundays! Other rental options are available - don't choose Enterprise.

Called ahead to Aviation Center and they had us a rental car and hotel room set up for our three day stay in Ann Arbor. My plane was tied down outside and there was a storm coming in and moved it into a hangar until the next day when we left. They were very helpful and I will be sure to use them every time I come to the Ann Arbor/Detroit area.

I came to KARB on 5/22/06 and had just found out about the Aviation Center. Last year, I did not know they were there, and had stayed at the other FBO. The Aviation Center has been a real treat. The line people, Cathy at the desk, and Ross have been so helpful, generous with their time, and going way out of their way to make us feel welcome and wanted. The difference between the two FBOs is like night and day, and, in the future, when I come to Ann Arbor, I will always use Aviation Center. It is hard to find if you are not familiar with the airport, as it is in a large blue hangar at the end of the field, but well worth the hunt! Thanks.

Arrived at Aviation Center on April 15 for an overnight visit in Ann Arbor. When departing on the Monday morning, I noticed a noise from the tailwheel. Fred quickly helped out and we found a few loose bolts which could have been real bad. A quick one hour repair and we were on our way. Great service !

My family and I flew into ARB on 4/11/06 with our Cherokee Six. Aviation Center was very responsive and nice. They arranged for us to rent a reasonably priced minivan. Their tie down was $4/night and fuel was about $3.65/gal. I had everything I needed to brief with their free lobby computer. I will definitely use them again when I go to the Detroit area.

Arrived at Ann Arbor for my first time into this quality small airport and chose to park at the Aviation Center. Service was very good, quickly chased up my rent car and gave me every possible help. All staff very helpful, I bought gas and they did not charge for tying down for the night. Thanks for a perfect stop over, I will be back soon.

Just a very quick Angel Flight patient drop-off and quick take off, but the man at Aviation Center was very friendly and accommodating. He offered a .35-cent discount on fuel for Angel Flight pilots, something you don't always experience. I was sorry we couldn't spend more time there. Definitely recommend.

King Air charter passenger wait times can be unpredictable and sometimes lengthy. Aviation Center was wonderful to use having a loaner car, restaurant recommendations, and onsite wireless access to occupy our wait. Their fuel prices enticed to top off as well. Helicopter Applicators Inc. (522PD) would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation for your hospitality and stellar service during our stay. While we were experiencing difficulties in Ann Arbor, the crew of the Ann Arbor Aviation Center helped in every way they could. Mark runs an excellent FBO with a great crew. The friendly crew and dependable service were very professional and helpful. Helicopter Applicators will be sure to spread the word on their quality of work, and hospitality. We will definitely recommend other companies to use the resources there, as well as plan on using it ourselves when the opportunity arises. Thank you again for all your efforts, we will definitely use you in the future for fueling and welcome you to visit us if you are ever out in Pennsylvania, or to be in touch if you should be in need.

Arriving at ARB on 7-20, I was warmly greeted by Aviation Center staff. My rental plane was well secured in advance of evening +TSRA. That same weather required me to make an unplanned overnight right in the middle of the Ann Arbor art festival. My firm's travel agent -- about the best there ever was -- couldn't get me a room in Ann Arbor. But Aviation Center got one. A good one. At very reasonable rates. Then they shuttled me to the hotel gratis. Next morning's flight planning around advancing lines of TS was greatly assisted by a staff instructer's unsolicited tip to wait a few minutes for the medical delivery Barron pilot, inbound from my route of flight home. Aviation Center treated this knave like a king.

Flew in after to drop my wife off to Ann Arbor Art Show. Used this facility based on previous AirNav reports. Was not disappointed. I needed to get my wife to a Hotel nearby and because there are scarce taxis on this busy week, they lent me their sturdy pickup truck for the mission. That worked out great, wife was on her way and happy to catch up with her art friends. While I was gone I was refueled. This was a quick turnaround got me off to Chicago with no wasted time. The staff was energenic and friendly, above the average good FBO.

Aviation Center again exceeded my expectations. I called them a few days before my May 12th flight, they arranged a rental car and hotel ($20 cheaper than the internet rate). When I showed up the keys for the car was waiting, they filled up my plane an put it in a hanger. Ended up spending an extra night in Ann Arbor due to weather. Aviation Center found me another hotel (again at a discount). Got to the airport at 9:00 am on Saturday morning, did not leave until 3:30pm. During that time, their IP spent about 90 minutes with me going over IFR issues/questions. I can not say enough good things about this FBO.
