One word describes my experience with J.A., "WOW". From the moment I taxied in to the moment I taxied out all I received was "service with a smile!!” I thought I was going to have to pay for this through my fuel bill but even that was almost self serve prices!! All I can say is the folks at Signature need to take a lesson from these kind and friendly folks. Thank you J.A. and I hope I have the opportunity to return!!

I attended an event with many fellow Beechcraft owners this past weekend, and JA Air's hospitality was outstanding. This is a first class FBO, and it is also where I have my avionics work done, they are an excellent shop, and a great destination if you are headed to or through Chicago area. It doesn't matter if you are a 172 or G-V, they will treat you right.

These folks are the greatest. Yesterday 3/28/11 I flew to KARR on an animal rescue flight using JA as a transfer location. When the other plane arrived with the dogs the entire line crew assisted in moving the mom and her 8 puppies from the plane, helping them to a spot to pee. It had been a long flight from MO and the mom and puppies had made quite a mess in the crates. The line guys took the crates from the plane, put them on a cart to wash and clean them up. And all the time they kept coming back to play with the puppies. They where Newfoundland dogs commonly called newfi's. The experience at JA was better than their claim of red carpet, there approach to service is what all other FBO's should strive for. AirNav needs to add a sixth star for JA.

A buddy and I stopped in earlier this week and we both could not have been more impressed with this FBO. Unfortunately, we were unable to purchase fuel, but even so, everyone we interacted with at JA, from the line guys to the women at the desk, could not have been friendlier. In 15 years of flying, this is among the best FBOs I have visited and we will definitely choose them next time we go to KARR.

J.A. Air Center has given us the best service I have ever received from an FBO bar none. Shalene set up our limo, crew rental car, and hotel and promptly sent us an email with all the confirmation numbers and contact info for each company. Upon arrival, Randy met us at the airplane (even though it was below zero out) and cheerfully got the bags from the aircraft to the limo. He even pulled up our rental car for us and helped with the crew bags. He washed out our coffee pot, took our trash and made us feel like royalty. Thank you to the awesome staff at Aurora! Extremely convenient airport, excellent facilities, and wonderful, friendly people!

We have been flying into J.A. Air Center for one year. I can safely say that we have had nothing but positive experiences with the people from J.A. Air Center. The line personal know our pilots by name and are always friendly, whether we put fuel on or are just stopping by. Their customer service personal are outstanding, always helpful and patience. Fuel pricing is as good as it can get, I am confident that you will not find fuel less expensive any where nearby. I would recommend any private or corporate pilot to use J.A. Air Center on their next visit and see the difference. Of all the FBO's I have flown into over the past 23 years, J.A. Air Center is as good as it gets from Great People, to Facilities, and to cost of fuel.

I landed at Aurora in a 172 last night and stopped by JA per the recommendation of my coworker who had been there before. I had nothing but a good experience with them. Some bigger FBOs will not treat you as well as the jet traffic if you're flying a small aircraft. The guys at JA were awesome. I can always appreciate good genuine service from people who care. The line workers did a great job at having my airplane ready in the morning when I arrived today. Also, they were really nice enough to let me borrow the courtesy car overnight. Highly recommended! P.S.-Thank you to the receptionist for offering me cookies before I left this morning. :)

We flew into ARR on November 25, in an Embraer Phenom 100 to JA Air Center with our client. The brand new facility and the exceptional service were truly second to none. Without a doubt, JA Air Center is the best location in Chicago. The ground crew was waiting for the aircraft upon arrival and parked it under the canopy keeping the passengers comfortable from the cold rain. We had a family member waiting for the aircraft, and they where continually given updates as to the arrival time. Furthermore, the rental car was waiting for our passengers upon arrival. Outstanding service and facility!

As Unit Commander for Search and Rescue Helicopter AIR-ONE. I want to share with all pilots the tremendous gift JA is in the process of giving to this unit, free of charge! This helicopter, operating thru a Not-For-Profit group, is the first responder to any flood, earthquake, and tornado—any natural or man-made disaster. It will fly with 12 volunteer firemen/paramedics when needed with emergency medical supplies in support of FEMA in 5 states, however will go anywhere by mutual aid when requested. JA is installing tactical radios, audio-panels, navigation equipment and other avionics, all at a cost of over $100, 000 FREE OF CHARGE! During these hard times for all in aviation, this is a great civic gift. This helicopter will save many lives in the years to come. Thank you JA! AIR-ONE Unit…

Flew in on a Tuesday afternoon in a Cessna 172 and nobody was out on the ramp. We parked ourselves and had to find our own chocks to use. When we went inside there was nobody at the desk but a woman came up and asked us who we were. We told her we were with a flight school and we requested a crew car to go to a meeting. Instead of gladly giving a car to us like most FBOs do, she began grilling us as to who we were, where we were going, how long we would be gone, etc. This would not have been an issue if she was courteous, but she was very unfriendly and condescending. It felt more like a police interrogation than a professional FBO interaction like I am accustomed to. The nice, new facility does not make up for the lack of customer service.

I visited this FBO for the second time in about two months. For the second time, the staff was rude to us. When we requested a crew car so we could go and get something to eat while we waited, the woman behind the desk looked at us and grilled us on where we were going and what we were going to do there. For a second I really thought she was not going to let us use the vehicle. I mean don't get me wrong, the FBO is a very nice and classy establishment but the service is second rate. Wonderful Crew and gorgeous new facility! Since moving from DPA to ARR last year, they have become a full service FBO, in addition to their fine airframe and a terrific Avionics Shop. The huge taxi-under canopy cover provides First Class transient handling even in bad weather, especially appreciated by my wife. Line Service is always eager to greet and park you immediately, then the ladies at the Front Desk make sure that your needs are immediately accommodated. Fuel prices are the lowest in the Chicago area, even often lower that surrounding other airports' Self Service prices. FAA Control Tower, great instrument approaches, long and wide runways, just far enough from ORD that overhanging airline traffic is not a problem, yet easy access to I-88 means you can rapidly get to wherever in Chicago you want to go quickly. First Class Folks, First Class Service, First Class Facilities at very reasonable prices. It just doesn't get much better anywhere! I just wish I were based here!

I recently had both significant maintenance and avionics work done at JA Air Center -- completely to my satisfaction. When I had time to be involved the staff spent hours with me going through the specifics of repairs and installation -- and when I had little time due to work demands they kept the process rolling seamlessly, making all of the calls and contacts necessary to the factory and other service/parts providers to keep the project moving. I had the opportunity to fly into KARR in my PA28-235. I was to meet aircraft owner to take photos for a listing inspection. At TOD, I realized that I had left my camera in the hangar in Cincinnati. After a call to JA, they had a crew car standing by so that I could run to the electronics store. However, FBO Operations Manager, Randy Fank, offered the use of his personal camera. His desire to help me out of my bind was awesome. I have never experienced the dedication to service from an FBO that each J.A. employee had. They were all professional and very friendly. Plus, the facility has recently been beautifully refurbished, offering ample room and a clean environment. I have been to DuPage a couple of times and did not feel welcome in my little Piper. The people at J.A. treated me no differently than the corporate aircraft parked next to me. Next time my travels take me to Chicago, I would prefer to drive an additional 15 minutes and use J.A. at KARR, than to use the FBOs at KDPA.

What a relief that a professional operation like JA Air Center has moved to Aurora Airport the new premier destination for Chicago Corporate business travelers. I currently operate a small corporate Part 91 flight department at Aurora with two King Air 200's and a Lear 35. Despite the small size of my operation JA has given me big customer service. They have easy to understand straight forward fuel pricing that is consistently competitive, a first rate maintenance department with turbine capabilities and with probably the most knowledgeable avionics shop in the Midwest, add to that a new outstanding top notch passenger terminal with convenient road access to the I88 corridor and downtown Chicago. Charter and corporate pilots will be sure to appreciate the private crew rest rooms, TV and game room and easy access to crew cars. The new JA Air Center revives this airport into a real alternate to MDW or DPA. The staff was very helpful on my recent visit. I had made reservations for a car with the other FBO and on arrival sat waiting for some one to park me. Some minutes later I gave up when the lineman from JA signaled for a spot under their new canopy. They went and got my rental car from the competition, parked my plane and had it ready with a preheat on departure. FIRST CLASS SERVICE for a Mirage that other FBO's usually reserve for the big Jets. The "new" J.A. Air Center is unbelievable! Absolutely incredible, luxurious FBO. You and your passengers will love it.
