Great stop for fuel. SS or FS is from the SS pump, but very little additional for FS. Nice bunch of folks.

My first stop in Slidell for a trip to New Orleans. The line service was extremely friendly, the fuel prices were the lowest in the area and there was no tie down fee. Enterprise had a car on the field waiting for me. It is an easy drive into New Orleans, perhaps an extra 25 minutes from Lakefront. This stop is highly recommended, we will be back to Slidell.

Fantastic FBO and staff. Mike exceeded my already high expectations from reading comments posted here. Ordered a rental car via the link on this page and the car was there waiting for us. Signed the contract and left immediately. No fooling with a shuttle service or offsite rental office. 100LL was the cheapest I have seen anywhere in the SE. Mike even came out to help us at the SS pump. Fantastic experience start to finish. Thank You, Slidell, for appreciating general aviation business.

Landed at ASD today and was very pleased with all aspects of this fine airport. Mike went out of his way to make this short visit a great experience. His knowledge and great customer service is much appreciated.

Slidell Municipal Airport was great! There were no landing fees or charges. Mike Maddox gave great service providing us with fresh hot coffee for our passengers and ice. They gave us a crew car and were very helpful with local restaurant knowledge and directions. We can't wait to go back and eat some good Cajun seafood and see our friends at Slidell Municipal Airport!

Stopped in for gas on the way to the Bahamas on November 1st. Great little FBO with the best prices around. The staff was attentive and a crew car was available for a quick lunch run. I will make this a regular stop on my east coast runs.

Whilst ferrying a Cessna Skymaster from Spartanburg SC to Brownsville TX. I got stranded in KASD due to losing almost all the oil out of the rear engine. However, thanks to the great help of Felicia in finding an expert mechanic and Mike the fuel guy, whom together with a local pilot aided in the various logistical improvisations, this almost hopeless situation got turned into a minor issue. All this off course, on top of the more mundane items like finding a motel and organizing the crew car for the night, etc., etc.

Slidell was one of my favorite airports until several years ago when a new group took over. They were terrible. No car, no ride to the restaurants only a few miles down the road and the best part..."get out of the FBO at 4pm because we are closing." I once got kicked out when it was 30 degrees outside. My passengers were still 3 hours from returning. Brrrr! As a result, I swore to never go back. Had to stop in today. Glad I did!! Great service!! New managers, Car, food and TV for as long as I needed. Welcome back to Slidell!!!
