Go to FAA.gov, air traffic publications notices for October Race Procedures. Hope this helps

$200 (two hundred dollars) parking fee in the grass for a piston twin is way too much for me. Have attended most races since 1969 at Talladega, but will not return.

I agree, the ramp fee is unreasonable. $100 just to land for the day is too expensive. I understand that they have to hire extra people for the race but for the past 15 years it has been $20-$30 which was reasonable. Why the huge increase? I'll be sure not to use them as a fuel stop anymore.

Flying north into stronger than anticipated headwinds had us making an unplanned fuel stop on a Thursday morning. When we landed the FBO was not open yet. A phone call to the "call list" and one of their guys was out within 10 minutes. Tried to tip for the quick and MUCH appreciated service, but to no avail. We were in a hurry for a very important meeting, and the extra effort and hustle will not be forgotten! Thanks again from 22N. I see a lot of negative comments but we were well taken care of and definitely not gouged or "overcharged". Keep up the great work!

Flew in for the race yesterday and the RAMP fee is RIDICULOUS to say the least single engines pay $100. IN the past this charge has been 20 to 30 and was acceptable but 100 is unacceptable. I may take my race day business to Pell City or Anniston airports

Went to Talladega this past weekend for the race. Better get your wallet ready when going there in the future on race weekend. $100 to park your car in the grass and walk to the shuttle (which is another $10 per person) and no discount even if you would buy gas (which is also one of the highest priced in the area). Can you say price gouging? I understand the additional costs of ground staff to direct aircraft to parking and such, but really! The big boys with the fancy airplanes and load of passengers seemed to be getting plenty of attention, but us "bug smashers" were on our own. Previous visits were in the $25 range, but guess they need to line the wallets. I won't be back to visit.

Being one of the owners of Homestead Executive Jet Center in Homestead myself, I was very impressed with this FBO. They were very helpful even though they were very busy. Great service, great people. Thanks for everything and for making my arrival as easy as possible.

Just flew in my RV-8 to recon for the race next month. Great service and friendly line guys. Showed me where I'll probably park and very attentive to taildraggers. Gave some good info on arrival (get there early) and the restricted areas north. Lots of vultures in the pattern, hope they're not there for the race. Ha, ha
