The new FBO facilities are excellent. V. Good flight planning and weather access computers. The staff was extremely accommodating and cheerful on my most recent visit. They supplied a courtesy car so my wife and I could tour the campus.... And have a great lunch at Niffer's. There was no ramp fee, or else it was waived because we purchased fuel. I'd give this whole operation 2 thumbs up.

Was thinking about attending school at this airports campus. However this FBO is reluctant to give a ride 5 minutes to the campus when flying in for a college visit and offered a cab company that was 50 dollars round trip. I used to visit multiple times per month but I will never be back.

Nice new terminal building on the opposite side of the runway from the old FBO. We flew in, in a Light Sport to go to lunch with a high school buddy and were charged a ramp fee because we didn't buy any gas. It wasn't much, only $5 or $10, but it wasn't listed anywhere.. Even on their own signs in the Terminal. So much for being an Alum of both the university and the flight school...

I had a great experience there at AUO. I don't like the Ramp Fees and sometimes when I am going to KNEW for that Fuel stop I just plan 06A, 10mn to the west. Competitive full service fuel and no fees, no over night fees or any thing else. (Just gas) Other wise I would recommend AUO for stops.

Be aware the FBO is now on the EAST side of the field. (Been that way awhile, but I haven't been here in a year or two) Lineman from the FBO drove across in a van and very nicely picked us up as we walked to the old building. We were able to use the crew car and ramp fee was waived with fuel purchase.

Always good service, but now a landing fee: $10 SE, $15 ME & $20 Turbine. It is waived with fuel purchase.

Rick and his team always take care of my wife and I when we stop in Auburn on our way to Texas. Auburn University Aviation has always provided top notch service with Auburn spirit that you won't find anywhere else. Make sure to make the trip to Mama G's if you have time to grab lunch while you're in town!

This airport has undergone a significant upgrade over the past few years. Not the cheapest place around, but good service, good facilities and good approaches.

Stopped both ways on a recent trip to KNEW. Very impressive facility. Self serve pumps are located near the hangars on the opposite side of the field from FBO.

I flew into Auburn University on Oct 26, 2011 to build some flight time. The line personnel where extremely helpful and nice. The personnel behind the counter where second to none in service and professionalism. I recommend this airport for any type of service or needs. The facilities were very impressive. The nice thing I like about this airport, the University offers jobs for college students at the airport. Great job guys! Thanks for everything!

I fly into KAUO frequently during football season and have never had a single problem. Even on days with over 100 aircraft the temp twr handles everything well. Ramp fee on game day is not a significant problem. Waived I believe with fuel purchase. On non-football game days the service is just as good if not excellence. No ramp fee on those days when I have visited. Always helpful and always a smiling face. One friendly airport to fly into.

Great service, friendly staff, excellent facility. Will be back!

I fly many different aircraft into AUO. I recently performed a maintenance flight on a Baron and decided to go there. With no notice....... Check Notams and the AirNav site............. They have recently implemented a ramp fee on ALL aircraft landing at AUO. This is ridiculous in my opinion and should be stopped. I will in the future go elsewhere if possible. FYI.............. TCL for the Alabama folks you are NOT charged a ramp fee.........

Arrived with passengers for an overnight stay. Promptly parked, and lineman helped with baggage. Gorgeous new facility on par with any newer facility in the country. Fuel prices were average for the area, and less than we pay back home for far less amenities. More hangar space in the future would be my only request. Smiling helping people all around with great dinner and entertainment suggestions. Not only will we be back, but we are looking forward to it! Thanks AUA! 1YP

Great facility. We called the day before to ask how we could get from the airport to the Robert Trent Jones golf course nearby. We were told that someone from the FBO could carry us. When we arrived the line guy said that transportation would be no problem. When we got to the counter there were two women who were very kind but told us that they were way too busy to have us shuttled to the golf course. No problem. They called us a cab. We waited 30 minutes for the cab. During the entire 30 minutes no planes arrived or departed from the FBO area. The two ladies at the counter spent the entire time chatting with a women leaning on the other side of the counter. We never asked to be carried to the course. They offered the day before and then upon our arrival they were too busy???? Nice facility. I would have no trouble stopping again... Just don't bring any special requests. They do not go out of their way to help!

If you have not been to Auburn in the last few months check it out. They now have one of the nicest FBO buildings in the Southeast instead of the oldest, drab, & rundown. The folks are still great and now they have a beautiful place to really show off their hospitality.

Overall very good service, however a better job could be done to direct pilots to the new location on the airport. We last visited in late August when the FBO was still on the west side. It turns out the new terminal has been open on the east side since Labor Day, but the east ramp is not depicted at all on NACO charts. No NOTAM, no mention of the new location during several phone conversations with the FBO, and no call on the UNICOM. It's published on the airport website, but that is not an FAA-approved source of information and not all pilots will check a website before coming! Consequently, when we arrived we taxied to the old location where we were "greeted" very condescendingly by some flight school official. We then repositioned over to the new terminal. The service we received there was excellent and the new facility is very attractive. The staff was very helpful with recommendations on lodging and taxis, and lineman Ben came out early the next day to take care of us. Thanks.

By Far - one of the BEST FBOs in the SE. Friendly people, first class facility, and reasonable fuel prices. This is definitely a great stop over for aircraft headed to Florida! - Easy Gas and Go - quick turned in 15 minutes the last two times through!
