Stopped in Alva on the way from Phoenix to Cincinnati. They have two parallel runways, which is a bit confusing until you figure out what they are doing (the old runway has the IFR approaches while the new runway is VFR only). Courtesy car was available and the FBO was super helpful. A good, quick, stop.

Diverted to Alva on 3/29/09 due to snowdrifts on runway at KWWR. This was only place that had plowed and clear runway. Filled up with very reasonable gas. Was allowed to use courtesy car to take passenger to Woodward. Very friendly and helpful. Thanks guys!!
