Beautiful FBO nice airport have to agree with everyone so far...This is the way an airport should be. Worth a stop to see the local flying history

It's all in a days work, if you want to call it that, for me as a helicopter pilot. Once in a while though an FBO shines well above the crowd. Phil at the Alva, OK Regional is such an individual and FBO. I called Phil from Fort Worth leaving late in the day. He actually waited well past closing time for me and then stayed to about 10pm. He then provided me with a way cool Lincoln Towncar which brought back memories as it was the exact same color as the one my father brought home so many years ago. There is a small but awesome museum of local aviators who made history and became heroes in the process. The FBO is clean, efficient and modern by any standard. I stayed at the America's Inn which was fairly new and clean. I would not only stop here again but I would fly out my way a respectable distance to do it. Thank you Phil.

Phil was more than helpful getting the bird under shelter when weather threatened. Facility is very nice, fascinating WWII memorabilia on display (POW camp was located there). No WIFI yet, but weather computer is full featured. Excellent stop.

Flew-in on 9-20-07 for a dry-run before the airshow. Was given use of the courtesy car for lunch. Didn't even have to sign-out for it. Very friendly folks. Nice facility too. Lots of historic memorabilia on display in the terminal.

Stopped due to bad weather. This is the best Municipal terminal I have seen. Service was excellent, allowed internet and long distance phone access. Full service fuel at SS price. Provided a car, snacks and beverages. This is how all airports should be. If ever needed, I will make a stop here again.
