Another one of those great little airports. Good fuel price and super friendly folks. Spent an overnight here and highly recommend Reed's Motel about ½ mile from the terminal. It is very clean and nice. Kevin shuttled us around and picked us up in the morning. What service! Reed's would have done the same, I'm sure. Avon Park is full of just plain friendly folks. Unfortunately KAVO has no courtesy car.

After landing, I pulled up to the self-service fueler and was pleasantly surprised when somebody came out and pumped the fuel for me. Very laid back but very friendly. Go downtown and try Taqueria Merlo for the best authentic Mexican food in this part of the country.
