Flew into BAK on 1/09/2012 in our Bonanza A36. Nice people very laid back. Because of heavy load I needed filled to slots. They got it exactly right. This is a good place to stop.
Save your money and go nearby to OVO, I34, or BMG for fuel. Rhoades is always at least $1/gal higher. They have no self-service pumps, you must pay extra to get a fuel truck after hours, there is no courtesy car, and no one will come out to park you. Some good people working there, but the organization leaves alot to be desired for a FBO at a great airport
This is a nice facility with a good on-site restaurant. The FBO should get a courtesy car, however.
