Visited VT Airport on 10/20/2009 thru 10/21/2009 and everything was perfect. Regina at the FBO was extremely helpful!!!!! I hope to visit BCB again!

Stopped for refueling July 24. Beautiful facilities, wonderful people and outstanding service. Fuel prices very reasonable. We will be back.

Great airport w/ friendly staff and cheap (relatively) fuel prices. Regina even got the restaurant to stay open for us after hours to feed a couple of starving pilots. Can't ask for more than that!

Stopped in for fuel and rest stop. A little confusing where to park for servicing until you decide that it must be in front the new brick terminal building. Quick refuel, friendly folks and relatively cheap gas.

During a ferry flight, we landed few minutes past 5pm. A citation was already being serviced and universities Citation landed 20 minutes later. When the attendant was done with them, we wanted a top off. It was 10 minutes before 6 and I was told 'We close at 6'. After this, while I was having an important conversation the attendant wanted to kick us from the building because his wife had a supper ready at home. This was one of the worst FBO attendants I have ever seen in my life. It hurt further because I am an alumnus. Also, for a university that was instrumental in 'electronic village' in early 90s, it 's a shame not to have a free wi-fi or an Internet access.

BCB makes an excellent fuel stop. Nice building and helpful people. The cafe is across the road at the university, an easy walk about 0.25 miles away. Very good and open until 3 pm.

I stopped at KBCB on my return flight from Pennsylvania to Tennessee for a fuel stop. Everyone at VA Tech Airport was super. The weather was marginal and they offered to hangar my small experimental overnight for a very reasonable fee. After checking the radar, I decided to continue on with my flight and arrived safely in TN. KBCB is a GREAT little airport with a very nice (new) terminal building and friendly staff. Thanks KBCB!!!

Stopped in at BCB on 07.02.07 and 07.03.07. Outstanding service and hospitality both times. Outbound was able to borrow the field truck for a quick trip into town for a meal while being refueled, on the return trip, stopped due to weather concerns and the staff helped find an alternate route through the mountains allowing us to arrive at home safely and almost on time. Special hello to Ms. Young for her charm and most pleasant smile. Hope to see y'all again.

Good little airport. Terminal building was clean and nice guys at the FBO were very friendly and polite. They did a good job overall and I was satisfied with just a few problems. First, calling the police to get out of the airport. You call the campus police, they come out, and they want a drivers license and they call in to the main office. No big deal, took about 10 minutes, but a little inconvenient. Also, there isn't any hangar space at all in case of weather. Then when refueling they left one gas caps off. A storm came through and added a lot of water to one of our tanks. We noticed the cap and notified them. They drained the tank and refueled it at my request with no trouble. They made sure I was happy. The airport mgr. called the next morning making sure everything was good and that I was satisfied. Too bad this delayed our flight by an hour, but they made sure I was happy. Hopefully the fuel guy learned from it and it won't happen again. Good airport though, would go again.

Landed at the airport at approx. 9:15pm on a Friday night and the place were locked up. FBO has a hallway with phone and contact numbers for taxi, hotel, etc. Which was convenient. You then need to call the Virginia Tech security police to be driven out of the airport area and then await the cab. Recommend that the FBO stay open until at least until 11 pm on weekends. When we returned the next day (Saturday) - we got to see the impressive FBO building inside...It is top flight!

Made a quick refueling stop at KBCB, and was impressed with the high standard of the terminal facilities. Fuel price was reasonable, and service was speedy. One important note, however: the airport deli nearby was closed for the holidays, and it shuts down at 3pm on regular operating days.
