Parked my Baron there today for 3 hours because they are close to customs. Bought 30 gallons to avoid the ramp charge. Cost was $239.81 including tax, which works out to $7.99/gal. I did use the courtesy car, which was nice. Just the same, a pretty expensive 3-hour car rental.

Do not land here. The airport is no longer friendly to small airplanes. If you land and go to Galvin and then to the Aviators store they want $26.00 just for the time you are at the store unless you buy fuel, which is the most expensive in the state. Do not land here... no longer friendly to small airplanes. It's funny that King County is saying to come here and the treatment is terrible.

NOT FRIENDLY TO SMALL AIRPLANES. Had to land at BFI due to weather and spend the night. Line personnel spent time shuffling a large business jet in front of me almost flipping over the airplane. No tie downs despite a $5 tiedown fee and a $30 handling fee (and I put the plane in the parking spot myself).

I'm delighted to write that the comments I made about my experiences at Galvin a couple of years back still hold true, they provide excellent customer service and continue to treat piston-drivers like me as if I were flying some heavy iron. About a month ago I needed to have some minor mechanical issues addressed during a weekend visit to KBFI; the front office staff were able to help me find a mechanic who took time out of his busy day to take care of my problem (BTW, thanks to American Avionics for helping out with this issue). I will continue to use Galivn's services on my periodic trips to KBFI and am happy to recommend this FBO to other pilots.

Stopped in with a maintenance problem after their maintenance crew had left for the day. Was able to solve the problem on my own. But my experience with the folks at the front desk was very pleasant. They went out of their way to help me with both the maintenance problem and finding a hotel. They spent a lot of time researching hotels on the Internet. In the end the hotel with whom they have a discount (Double Tree) ended up being the cheapest since they have a shuttle and I didn't have to rent a car or taxi. Their facility is nice too with a good flight planning room and pilot lounge. Fuel prices are discounted $1.00/gallon on the weekend. I'll be back.

Arrived in my piston single for overnight stay and was treated in a friendly and professional manner, as has always been my experience at Galvin. The weekend fuel discount brings the 100LL price down from the stratosphere, it was over a buck less that the published "Guaranteed" AirNav price, no charge for the parking.

I didn’t have a great experience with their maintenance department. The manager Andy Houle is nothing but rude and never returns calls. I will take my plane to another maintenance shop where customer service is better.

What an excellent, customer-oriented business. Two examples from this past weekend will illustrate this. When I landed my Columbia last Thursday, I mentioned to Line that I needed oxygen service. The lineman offered to do the servicing immediately, and within five minutes both the oxygen cart and a GPU (to power the avionics so I could read the system pressure gauge without killing the batteries) were brought to the plane and the system was recharged. This morning, about an hour before my scheduled departure, I received a call from the Galvin Line Office stating that Line had noticed my right main tire was flat. The lineman (Scott) had, on his own initiative, inflated the tire and periodically checked it for leakage rate, then met me at the plane so he could review the problem with me and the corrective actions he had already taken. Add to the above the friendly and efficient front-office staff .I could not be more pleased with the service provided by Galvin.

Great service but now are charging $50 to drop off or pick up a passenger. Chocking wheels so you have to shut down and pay the fee.
