I've been stopping in here for years...Today in a vintage aircraft to take a break for a few minutes (bought a few drinks & enjoyed the air conditioning for a few minutes). Was asked to pay a $10 "ramp" fee since I didn't buy any fuel. Start selling Mogas (100LL not good for this engine) and I'd buy fuel. Guess I'll start taking breaks at KJKA...3 FBOs to choose from there.

I had a great experience at Mobile Downtown. The lineman met my plane and fueled it promptly. A courtesy car was brought to the plane. On a very hot day, they kept my plane interior cool with a portable air conditioner. Wow! The cookies were fresh and the pilot lounge comfortable. Couldn't ask for more.

The Line Attendant parked us and fueled the airplane, but was absent after that. The lady at the counter inside is super friendly and professional. The fuel prices are opportunistic. Downtown Air Center is charging a solid 1.25/gal above the national average. Facilities are clean and would be adequate for the national average fuel price, but at this price I would consider them derelict.

The linemen are great, the counter help is professional, the cookies are out of this world, but the fuel prices! My airport bought avgas in NE Fla last week @ $4.26 a gallon delivered. Do the math.

Amanda and crew had passengers off, plane fueled and dinner in front of us in 10 minutes. Great job. We'll be back.

Excellent service from the line staff and CSRs. All the crew cars were out when we came in to top off tanks on our Baron, but they came up with a car for us to take into town. Aircraft was fueled and ready to go on our return. They have a monopoly on this airport but don't act like it. Easy access in and out of this airport...Great for a quick turn.

I visited Downtown Air on Feb. 28th to drop off my girlfriend for a convention in Mobile. I was promptly met on the ramp by a very courteous attendant and was promptly fueled. The girl at the desk was very pleasant and promptly summoned transportation for my girlfriend. The FBO was very clean and comfortable with a nice break room. It was my first time there but definitely won't be my last.
