I agree with the other comments. Great stop. Nice building and runways. We stopped overnight and they provided a car. Hampton Inn was very nice. Choose KBGD over Dalhart and Las Vegas because of mixed reviews. KBGD did not disappoint

Beautiful terminal, very friendly and helpful staff, and inexpensive 100LL. The lineman filled up our plane and offered us the crew car to get some dinner in town. We didn't have time to take him up on the offer, but appreciated the gesture. Very clean facility with nice amenities. We will definitely stop here again!

I recently traveled from WY to Granbury TX and home twice in one week. Tracy and Dennis were absolutely the most accommodating people I have dealt with at any FBO. Not only did I get great service and quick turns at the airport but Dennis stayed late on the return trip to fuel my plane (T210) and got me a motel room to boot. The people at KBGD are what GA should be. Thanks Tracy and Dennis.

I must make a comment about our second stop at Hutchinson County Airport in the past 6 weeks. They have great fuel prices for Jet A and the service is exemplary! I made the call ahead of time for a quick turn and fueling was accomplished before we had time to make a few calls and a physiological break. This is definitely a great cross-country stop to meet our "CJ" requirements.

Stopped here for fuel in a Skylane both ways on a trip from CO to South TX. Excellent/prompt service, VERY friendly, low gas prices, and a brand new terminal. They went out of their way to be helpful in every way. Would recommend highly.

Called ahead with a quick-turn request for the Citation Jet and the truck was waiting for us as we taxied to a stop. After a few hundred gallons of very reasonably priced JET-A with Prist, we were on our way to the Phoenix area. This is a great, x-country fuel stop! Excellent personnel and very nice facility for a non-towered airport. Easy IN and OUT with Amarillo Approach services, too. We will return as needed to this great facility.

This is a great stop whether you're in a Citation or a C172. The service is great, brand new facility, and as always excellent fuel pricing. Normally I am just passing through Borger for a fuel stop and perhaps a sandwich in town. My most recent stop though was an overnight and the guys arranged transportation into town and a nice room at the FBO discounted rate. I highly recommend Hutchinson County Airport.

Borger was the first fuel stop (going east) and last fuel stop (going west) for a recent trip the family and I took across the country in our Bonanza. Tracy (sp?) is phenomenal. Super friendly, expedient, and helpful. Going west we called ahead to see when they closed as it was Sunday and we weren't sure what the hours were. As we approached the field, Tracy was there with the perfect advisory report, and was waiting to marshall us in when we landed. The facilities are great, too. We will most definitely stop here for fuel again when the flight takes us that direction.

You have to stop at Borger. I have been traveling between Texas and Colorado for the last 7 years and sometimes due to the winds need a fuel stop. I have been going to a neighboring FBO but they didn't answer the phone for two days so I stop at Broger. What a great experience, it is one great FBO and the service was excellent. Tracy was by himself, I landed along with two other aircraft and he handled each of as if we were the only ones there. The prices on fuel are excellent, the service is great, and the place is clean and friendly. My wife liked it!!!!

Great fuel stop! Courtesy car is available, but Dennis says hotel rooms in town are sometimes limited because of oil-boom business expansion. Best to check in advance. Dennis' enthusiasm for customer service is incredible. Nice clean FBO with wireless Internet. Quick turn-around. Thank you.

Great fuel stop on the way from Central Texas to Denver. I called the day before and they were waiting for me and had a courtesy car for my crew to grab a quick lunch at the Plaza restaurant nearby. Fuel price is one of the best around this part of the world. I would recommend this stop.

We stopped in Borger on our way to Sedona recently and were AMAZED at the service afforded by this small town FBO! This is a gem of an FBO nestled in the Panhandle of Texas an d is a perfect "jumping off place" for crossing the high desert to the West of the city. Dennis and Larry were very accommodating and went out of their way to make our overnight stay very comfortable. And their gas price is the lowest for miles around too!!

Stopped for gas on a trip from Denver to Dallas in a Cessna 170. Within minutes of our arrival, a G-4 and a King Air both loaded with passengers also arrived. The sole employee present efficiently took care of all three airplanes giving us the same level of service as the turboprops even though we only took 25.3 gal. Outstanding! We were offered use of the crew car for the Mexican food restaurant at the edge of the airport, which had good food and service. I'll plan a stop at Borger any time I pass that way.

Been a long while since I've been to Borger (BGD) from a hiatus from flying. While Dennis has been there since I was last there (2007) the terminal building is newly remodeled and is a great facility in the panhandle. The service is as good as it ever was and the fuel is literally some of the cheapest in the country. Keep up the great work Huntchinson County leadership and Dennis O'Bryant!

I've made Hutchinson County my "usual" refueling stop for long cross-country trips to northern NM and the staff continues to provide competent and friendly service. Overall a great place to get in from the heat and have your plane serviced!

We had to divert on our trip west to Phoenix due to converging thunderstorms over the Panhandle. We arrived right at closing time, but Ronnie made sure we got our plane into a hangar, got us a crew car for our overnight stay, and made us feel like we were home. Well done! The renovated FBO is on par with any we have experienced in "the big city" FBO's but it didn't bring those crazy fees, high fuel prices, and special handling fees - just good, prompt, kind service from people who care. We have stopped there often but as far as I'm concerned, these folks are as good as it gets!!! Well done!!

Stopped on my way back from Colorado this morning and we were impressed. Extremely friendly, inexpensive fuel, and a terminal that my wife and kids were bragging about at lunch three hours later. Thank you for the great service. All the Five ***** are well deserved!

I am not sure I can say anything not already mentioned, but Borger is too impressive to be quiet about it! From the generous offering of a crew car to use overnight to get to a hotel after a late arrival, to the lovely new terminal building, great fuel price, and awesome line service. Worth anything from a mid-day stop to overnight comfort at any of the number of hotels in town. Thanks!

Wow! Amazing. Stopped for fuel and was treated like a king! Too bad we missed out on the super cheap fuel but the fuel price was still very good! What an awesome airport with a very nice terminal! The line person, Tracey... Well he is the Tops!!! Quick, friendly, and even cleaned the bug guts off the windshield. Above and beyond. Next time I am anywhere in the area I will stop here again! One of the places that does it right.

The staff was all very friendly and eager to help with any request. The new FBO was amazing! My 3 children were über impressed with the seating & flat screen tuned into man vs. Wild, which made for 2 happy parents that needed the distraction so we could check weather for the last leg of our flight. Great place to stop & we will definitely be back!

Stopped for fuel on 1/22. The wind was gusting to 45 and then it started to rain. The lineman, I am sorry I did not get his name, was out front waiting on me, got me parked and chocked, then fueled me in some of the worst weather imaginable. He even tied a rag around the fuel caps to keep them from banging on the wing top. This is always a great stop, and the new terminal is very nice.

Planning a trip tomorrow, Sunday, from Cahokia to Phoenix and wanted to check if BDG would be open since they don't have SS. Left a message for a call back and within 5 minutes a cheerful Tracey called back to confirm they would be open on Sunday and welcomed me. Amazing. I think that's about the first time I actually got a callback from an FBO. This confirms all the previous positive reports about this FBO.

I was flying back from Colorado Springs to Dallas very late last night...I called ahead and told them what the deal was, and Tracey had no problem coming up to the field to fuel us up (as there's no SS here). Very nice guy! He waited for us to arrive at 2:30AM, had the building open for us to use the restroom and grab coffee, and saw us off! They also have the cheapest fuel that I've found within 100 miles. I recommend this airport to anyone needing a fuel stop in the TX/NM/CO/KS/OK state line area.

Excellent fuel stop! My wife and I were treated like a king by Lineman Tracy Ferguson. He is one of the friendliest airport people I have ever met! Great fuel price. Two crew cars available, took one to La Plaza Mexican restaurant -Less than a 5 min ride. Highly recommend! Hutchinson County has done a great job with their airport. Their Phillips Avgas is refined right next to the airport at the local Conoco/Phillips refinery.

Wow- is it something in the water? It's just hard to beat panhandle hospitality! Borger was a stop on the Air Race Classic's route this year, and those people pulled out all the stops for the gaggle of enroute lady racers. They had plumbers finishing the women's restroom that morning, installed computers, big-screen TV, lovely leather furniture with tags still on--and the new terminal was just gorgeous by the time the first fliers landed. Borger's management, the volunteers they rounded up for transportation, the linemen's professionalism and courtesy-- just excellent all the way around! Highly recommend!

I found the staff at Borger to provide great service when I reported two years ago and a stop there on Feb 20, 2011 shows that the speed and friendliness of the service is still great. The staff understands the differences in aircraft - they parked my Tiger into the strong wind to avoid weathervaning. The new plus for BGD is that a new FBO building is now under construction and should be completed sometime this summer. This is really a first class operation that has a desire to serve the GA customer.

Stopped here yesterday with our N6972N for quik-turn fuel and sure had everything just right for our needs. Very good temp facility while a new terminal is being built. Easy in/out instrument procedures. Thanks folks. Will be there again in a couple weeks.

I had the pleasure of stopping for a second time to do a quick turn on our way home. That’s exactly what they provided! They were friendly, quick, and the facility is very clean. This is the place to stop on a cross-country trip. You can’t beat the fuel price and service. There are plenty of approaches and having Amarillo close as an alternate makes the choice easy. I will be back anytime I need a stop eastbound. Thank you guys!

Came in to Hutchinson County on the way back from a trip out west. Stopped because of the gas prices but when we got there, we received excellent service from the gentlemen working that night. Marshalled us in, fueled us up, gave us the keys to the crew car for some food and sat there and waited for us to return on a Sunday night when he didn’t have to. Great place to stop.
