Stopped at Borger last night for overnight. Tracy did all but take us to the hotel. Great FBO with first class service and real good fuel prices.

From Rex Bryce on 09-Oct-2009
Stopped today enroute to Oklahoma from Arizona. Cheerful, quick service-unbeatable prices. Local controllers are easy to work with. Great stop.

From Barry Harper on 24-Aug-2009
I have stopped at BGD several times traveling from Fort Worth to New Mexico. Every stop has been great. Great service, use of the crew car when needed for a quick lunch, good fuel prices and a nice clean FBO. This place is certainly doing it right.

From Robert Pattee on 24-Aug-2009
Called 12 miles out got an immediate advisory. Lineman waiting for us - chocked both mains before we even got out of the plane. Went inside to a nice FBO with chips and drinks; clean restrooms; and comfortable chairs. Topped off both tanks and cleaned the windshield while we enjoyed the air-conditioned comfort. Nice friendly Texas panhandle airport. Highly recommended

From Ron Connolly. on 18-Aug-2009
I find that FKN at 3.23 a gallon seems to be pretty good too. It is full service also.

From Jeff Nickels on 22-Jul-2009
Great airport! Arrived around 7PM and a lineman (Ronnie) directed us to parking. When he heard we were spending the night, he tied the plane down and offered a courtesy car. Cheap gas, great service.

From David J. Spencer on 03-Jul-2009
My first thought was I had passed through a time warp... I called position on the downwind and got an instant "airport advisory" from a real live human. Landed on the 6000' foot "perfect" runway and pulled in for a fuel stop. Not only did we get fuel at a very competitive price, but they washed the windshield. I was back in the 1950's. Great place with great service and courtesy car to boot... We shall return... Also pretty (rough n' not for sissies) country. Beware the 6K DA... Its just part of the fun.

A stop at Borger, TX is a stop at two icons. The refinery across the way makes 100LL. See it while you can. The efficient, polite service typifies Texas. That will be around longer than 100LL. The fuel prices and food at Lorain's are a huge bonus.

From John Kirkendoll on 06-May-2009
What awesome service and great fuel prices. Called Unicom on a 5 mile base on had three guys meet the plane for a quick turn in an MU-2. I was on the ground less than 30 minutes. I'll be back.

From Jeremy McClellan on 11-Apr-2009
The fuel prices here are un-believable! They really are the cheapest fuel prices in the nation!

From Greg West on 07-Apr-2009
Had a trip into Borger with my employer's Hawker. The FBO was kind enough to let our passenger use a courtesy car for his meeting, then let us use the airport truck to grab some grub while the second courtesy car was being used. Friendly staff, great fuel price, easy in and out makes this an attractive stop.

From Dick Welsh on 02-Apr-2009
They always have the best fuel price in the West and the FBO staff is the best and very friendly.

From N. Duncan on 01-Feb-2009
Cheapest 100LL in the country thanks to the old Phillips refinery near the field. Run the numbers...A fuel stop at KBGD makes economic sense even if you have to go a few miles out of your way. Friendly folks that aim to please.

From Karl Gross on 14-Dec-2008
This airfield and their staff are so good everyone should be using them. Always prompt, friendly service. They always respond to the radio (remember when most fields did?) They always offer a car. The lounge has Internet, TV, and snacks. Prices are great. Field is well maintained. Definitely a place to plan to stop. The city is doing a lot for the airport, and we should continue to support them as much as we can. Be sure to bow twice toward and thank the refinery to the east - it produces avgas.

From Chris Hansen on 25-Nov-2008
Great FBO! Stopped going to and coming from Colorado Springs 14/15 November. Service was quick and friendly, fuel was reasonable. The food at Lorene's Mexican Kitchen was excellent and only 3 blocks from the FBO. They offered a car, but after 3 hours of flying, the walk was nice. Definitely a repeat stop! Thanks

From Dennis Huwe on 28-Oct-2008
We did an overnight at Borger on our trip from MN to AZ. Tracy was unbelievable!!! Have been to some other airports with good service but this one was tops. Super service plus super reasonable fuel prices. What more can a pilot ask???

From Matt Freckleton on 15-Oct-2008
Tracy the Lineman is AWESOME. We flew in Oct 11, 2008 in a C-150 and had some awful weather and had to stay grounded for two nights. They had no hesitation to let us use one of their crew cars the entire time we were there. The people are very nice in Borger. A+ Thanks again Tracy!

From Wayne Smith on 22-Sep-2008
This is a great fuel stop, with excellent prices and even better service. I can't speak highly enough of this airport's way of doing business.

From Dan Tanner on 27-Aug-2008
Stopped at Borger from Tulsa to Santa Fe and upon return. Tracy Ferguson has my nomination for Line Guy of the Year Award. Attentive. Friendly. Couldn't ask for more. It is refreshing to discover a friend that you didn't know you had.

From Justin Ryan on 13-Jul-2008
Great stop! Lineman super friendly - even called on Unicom to complement my landing before I had turned off the runway. Full service fuel at self-service price. They even offered me a slice of the pizza that had just been delivered! Strong winds, but steady and right down the runway. I'll be back...

From Ted Louis Glenn on 09-Jul-2008
Great place for a fuel stop. I was here on June 30th and was immediately met by the lineman who washed my windows and then topped-off my plane. He refused a tip. There's wireless Internet inside. They also have a computer and printer.

From Nick Wilkerson on 10-Jun-2008
This is my favorite fuel stop in Northern Texas. I have personally stopped in 5 or 6 times this year. I can't say enough great things about Tracey and the others. They have pick up Subway for us and provided great service. This last time they had the plane fueled in 10 mins. If you are in the area, stop in here.

From Bill Ellison on 09-Jun-2008
Stopped at Borger on June 8th. Tracy met us on the ramp and offered us a car before we even got out of the plane. He also entertained our two year old for twenty minutes who thought Tracy was the coolest guy. The facilities were spotless and reminded me of the great FBO's from years past. On top of that the best fuel prices around. Crosswind runway is a big plus in windy West Texas. Do yourself a favor and stop here.

From David Sensing on 03-Jan-2008
I was on a long cross country from TN to AZ and stopped on my way out there. It was late when I arrived and Tracy was the only person there, he was super! He was a big help, he got my Tomahawk hangared and fueled, got me a hotel and even a crew car for my use. I hadn't planned on any over night stays on my trip, but the weather and the headwind made it impossible to get there in one day, but luckily for me I stopped at Borger, TX. I really appreciated their effort and I think Tracy deserves a raise. The fuel prices were also the best I experienced on my trip and made it a point to stop on the way back. So, if you are in the north TX area on a trip and want some good service, stop in at Borger, TX!

From Alan Monshausen on 22-Aug-2007
Two men came out to fuel and clean the windscreen. Place was spotless and had a friendly atmosphere. Excellent service. One of the best we've stopped at in years.

From Roger Hansen on 16-Aug-2007
Other airports could learn a lesson on what customer service should be by going to Borger. The staff and anyone I came in contact with were extremely helpful and courteous. This is must for a fuel stop (tied for lowest cost, the other was Rowan County in NC who also had friendly help) or overnighter. If you want a non-smoking room then do not use the Budget Inn, otherwise a low cost clean room and honest people. They called me at the airport to inform me I had left my cell phone and charger. Will stop again next time I'm going near there.

From Brent Smith on 12-Aug-2007
I really should have commented earlier. This is an excellent stop with good prices but also a FULL service staff and very good facilities. I have been through here about every month for the last few years and have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend it for an opstop or overnight layover.

From J.E. Herrington, Jr. on 03-Aug-2007
Really nice folk at Borger's FBO. Appreciated use of the crew car to get lunch in town. Highly recommend, in addition to reasonable 100LL fuel price.

From John Hopper on 01-Aug-2007
Spent a couple of days in Borger due to a stuck Exhaust valve. The people there were fantastic. Helped me find a motel, helped get a mechanic to come from Amarillo & let me use the courtesy car for two days. All the people there went overboard to help me get my little Cessna 150 back up in the air and on my way to Calif.

From Bruce Belling on 26-Jul-2007
Great stop. Have used several times. Quick turn. Cheap fuel. They even stayed late when we called ahead one time.

From Robert Miller on 15-Jul-2007
We stopped for fuel on the 26th of June. Very prompted turn around, excellent facilities and a VERY PLEASANT STAFF.

From David Whitford on 15-Jul-2007
Follow Up: Returned to Borger on 7/14/07 to retrieve our repaired aircraft. Once again I have to thank Tracy and all of the folks at the Hutchinson County Airport. They made me feel welcome and are always ready to help in any way they can. Tracy was on the spot with retrieving our aircraft from the large hangar. He is always a joy to be around and if I could only "bottle" his happiness! How do you do it Tracy? Thank you both Tracy and Dennis for the Absolute BEST line service and FBO facilities around. Keep up the Great work!

From Ken Elias on 14-Jul-2007
Another excellent stop at BGD...Tracy (the line guy) was expecting me and quickly turned me around on a long x-country flight. He even remembered my plane from a few years before when I stopped here! Kudos to Tracy and the folks at Borger.

From David Whitford on 09-Jul-2007
I can't tell you how much I enjoy going into Borger, TX the Lineman (Tracy) is a hoot. He is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. Friendly, helpful and just an all around great guy. Best Lineman I've ever had or been around. Thanks Tracy!! Also, the airport FBO is always clean, always has cold drinks in the machine and chips or cookies available for purchase. I can't say enough about my recent experience in Borger, TX and the Hutchinson County Airport. I had a mechanical failure and along with Tracy and Dennis the Airport manager who lives on the airport property saw that we were having some issues and he came over in his car and we discussed the problem as well as helping me remove a wheel pant and brake caliper to investigate our problem and then they both assisted in towing the aircraft off the taxiway and back to a closed hangar for repairs. Thank you very much Dennis and Tracy. I will be back, not only to pick up our aircraft but I will be back in the future! Great Job!!!

From Glenn Broga on 12-May-2007
What a fantastic place to stop! Out in the middle of no-where, but no-lines no waiting! Stopped on our way out west and back home and each time the very friendly staff started fueling right away and service not only the plane but the passengers and crew as well. They even offered to clean the windscreen-when's the last time that was offered to you? A great place to quick turn-600 gals in under 20 mins from shutdown to start up. Let's not forget the great fuel prices too

From Chet Cromer on 24-Apr-2007
What a great little airport. Good Full-Service Fuel prices. Courtesy car and map inside detailing places to eat.

From Tobe Gooden on 23-Mar-2007
Stopped at Borger for a quick turn in a Citation. Excellent service and fuel price. Turn time about 20 minutes for 500 gallons of fuel.

From David Savage on 17-Mar-2007
I highly recommend a stop at KBGD. We stopped on the way to Colorado and had great service from Tracy Ferguson on the line. He met us at the ramp, gave us a car to go to Lorene's, and got us fueled promptly. The FBO is clean and nice. The runways were in great shape. We will stop here on our way home to Austin.

From Tom Smith on 17-Feb-2007
Fantastic stop 3 times now. Excellent service with great prices. Tracy and Casey could not have been faster or nicer. Very clean also!! Lunch is great and less than 1 mile away.

From Robert Beverly on 18-Nov-2006
This is a great fuel stop on a long cross-country trip -- prompt & courteous staff and the lowest fuel prices around. Our visit included a windshield cleaning without even asking!
