I've stopped in Borger several times during long trips to northern NM and received nothing but exemplary service. Their new FBO building is outstanding! Wow! What an improvement -- well done, folks.

From Nowell Outlaw on 26-Sep-2011

We stopped here for a quick gas fill.. What a great airport - they have a brand new building (1 week ago) they opened. It is very, very nice! Nice people too.

From Stanley Jobe on 19-Sep-2011

Great fuel price, new facility, well managed, friendly service, good places to eat in town

From Carol Jarecki on 10-Sep-2011

Planning a trip tomorrow, Sunday, from Cahokia to Phoenix and wanted to check if BDG would be open since they don't have SS. Left a message for a call back and within 5 minutes a cheerful Tracey called back to confirm they would be open on Sunday and welcomed me. Amazing. I think that's about the first time I actually got a callback from an FBO. This confirms all the previous positive reports about this FBO.

Excellent airport, excellent service! I was flying back from Colorado Springs to Dallas very late last night...I called ahead and told them what the deal was, and Tracey had no problem coming up to the field to fuel us up (as there's no SS here). Very nice guy! He waited for us to arrive at 2:30AM, had the building open for us to use the restroom and grab coffee, and saw us off! They also have the cheapest fuel that I've found within 100 miles. I recommend this airport to anyone needing a fuel stop in the TX/NM/CO/KS/OK state line area.

Excellent fuel stop! My wife and I were treated like a king by Lineman Tracy Ferguson. He is one of the friendliest airport people I have ever met! Great fuel price. Two crew cars available, took one to La Plaza Mexican restaurant -Less than a 5 min ride. Highly recommend! Hutchinson County has done a great job with their airport. Their Phillips Avgas is refined right next to the airport at the local Conoco/Phillips refinery.

Wow- is it something in the water? It's just hard to beat panhandle hospitality! Borger was a stop on the Air Race Classic's route this year, and those people pulled out all the stops for the gaggle of enroute lady racers. They had plumbers finishing the women's restroom that morning, installed computers, big-screen TV, lovely leather furniture with tags still on--and the new terminal was just gorgeous by the time the first fliers landed. Borger's management, the volunteers they rounded up for transportation, the linemen's professionalism and courtesy-- just excellent all the way around! Highly recommend!

I found the staff at Borger to provide great service when I reported two years ago and a stop there on Feb 20, 2011 shows that the speed and friendliness of the service is still great. The staff understands the differences in aircraft - they parked my Tiger into the strong wind to avoid weathervaning. The new plus for BGD is that a new FBO building is now under construction and should be completed sometime this summer. This is really a first class operation that has a desire to serve the GA customer.

Stopped here yesterday with our N6972N for quik-turn fuel and sure had everything just right for our needs. Very good temp facility while a new terminal is being built. Easy in/out instrument procedures. Thanks folks. Will be there again in a couple weeks.

Stopped in on Dec 2nd and 5th going to and from Colorado. Both times great service, offered a car to go to town, clean, friendly, can't ask for more.

From Matt Daglish on 02-Dec-2010

I had the pleasure of stopping for a second time to do a quick turn on our way home. That’s exactly what they provided! They were friendly, quick, and the facility is very clean. This is the place to stop on a cross-country trip. You can’t beat the fuel price and service. There are plenty of approaches and having Amarillo close as an alternate makes the choice easy. I will be back anytime I need a stop eastbound. Thank you guys!

From Michael Peters on 23-Nov-2010

Came in to Hutchinson County on the way back from a trip out west. Stopped because of the gas prices but when we got there, we received excellent service from the gentlemen working that night. Marshalled us in, fueled us up, gave us the keys to the crew car for some food and sat there and waited for us to return on a Sunday night when he didn’t have to. Great place to stop.

From Philip Greenspun on 15-Oct-2010

Can't complain about a place that brings out a dog bowl and fills it with bottled spring water as soon as they saw the 4-month-old Border Collie get out of the plane. Sadly did not have a chance to try the Mexican restaurant down the street.

From Dick Welsh on 13-Oct-2010

We got the usual great service and fuel price from Hutchinson Airport. Quick in and out. Thanks for teh great service.

From Jim Smith on 12-Oct-2010

I stopped by for a cross county fuel stop. Courteous service, fuel prices as posted, and friendly conversation. I was fueled up and ready to go in less than 15 minutes. Courtesy car was offered, but I had packed a lunch. Highly recommended.

From Don Oberlander on 04-Oct-2010

Lay over here in July 2010. Discovered I had lost one underwing tie down ring. They gave me their airport car and told me where I could find one in town. A week later, I was flying back and broke down here. They got maintenance for me, got me in a hangar, took me to Amarillo to commercial home etc etc. Super nice guys. If this had happened to me where I was in Utah, or California, I would have been stuck.

From Walt Woltosz on 22-Sep-2010

KBGD is a regular stop for our Citation - friendly people, crew car has always been available, and the best fuel prices in the area. We'll be back!

From Chris Provencio on 05-Sep-2010

Great, friendly service from Tracy and Ronnie. Provided crew car one day and then picked us up at hotel on last day. Stayed at Holiday Inn Express, great value, large rooms, good breakfast, and awesome showers. Good authentic Mexican food at Aranda's Taqueria at 606 E 10th St (orange building) and also at Plaza Mexican at 1003 N Main St. Highly recommend this airport, low fuel prices too!

From James Bockholt on 31-Mar-2010

What they said below! I've been in, in a Jet, and yesterday piston single, treatment and service is the same. Good Fuel Prices Too!

From Robert Beverly on 28-Mar-2010

Hutchinson County is a great refueling destination for our long cross-country treks to the desert southwest. I have stopped multiple times in the past several years and received only the most courteous and prompt service. Fuel prices are consistently the lowest in the region.

From Wayne Mudge on 07-Mar-2010

Great service-all around. Stopped in for gas, lunch, and a quick turn. Got very friendly service from the FBO and was loaned a courtesy car. Lorene's Mexican restaurant was good food at a good price, with very good service. Highly recommend BGD for a $100 hamburger and great, friendly service.

From Lee Gilbert, N6851T on 26-Jan-2010

Dennis O'Bryant and his crew welcomed us, gave us full service with a smile, directed us to a handy and good tex/mex restaurant nearby, and sped us on our way. What a wonderful and welcoming cross-country stop between Knoxville and LA!

From Thomas Anderson on 26-Jan-2010

This is the kind of good old-fashioned airport that makes flying a real pleasure. Fuel prices were great and the service was outstanding! The friendly lineman, Tracy, was quicker than a NASCAR pit crew and had me fueled and back on my way in minutes. I would absolutely recommend BGD for your next pit stop.

From Brad Wrzesinski on 15-Nov-2009

Landed in Borger for fuel and lunch on our way to, and back from Colorado elk hunting. Service was great, price was great and all you can eat lunch buffet for under 7.00, at the local barbeque place was good. Good crosswind runway was used both times. Recommend highly!

From Howard Benz on 15-Nov-2009

Great service. Airport manager was on Unicom to me as soon as we landed. Quickly fueled us and was very hospitable! No doubt our business was appreciated. Will definitely make this a stop from now on. Thanks!

From Dean Lee on 11-Nov-2009

Borger, Tx is the greatest. I have been through 4 times now and for sure I will be back! If you have not gone here yet, I highly suggest a stop. Great service, awesome gas prices and overall a great mid-america stop.

From Doyce Graham on 10-Nov-2009

A pleasant experience as always when stopping in at BGD. Car is always offered, service is prompt and fuel prices are excellent. Heartily recommended when in Texas Panhandle.

From Ron Ward on 19-Oct-2009

Stopped at Borger last night for overnight. Tracy did all but take us to the hotel. Great FBO with first class service and real good fuel prices.

From Rex Bryce on 09-Oct-2009

Stopped today enroute to Oklahoma from Arizona. Cheerful, quick service-unbeatable prices. Local controllers are easy to work with. Great stop.

From Barry Harper on 24-Aug-2009

I have stopped at BGD several times traveling from Fort Worth to New Mexico. Every stop has been great. Great service, use of the crew car when needed for a quick lunch, good fuel prices and a nice clean FBO. This place is certainly doing it right.

From Robert Pattee on 24-Aug-2009

Called 12 miles out got an immediate advisory. Lineman waiting for us - chocked both mains before we even got out of the plane. Went inside to a nice FBO with chips and drinks; clean restrooms; and comfortable chairs. Topped off both tanks and cleaned the windshield while we enjoyed the air-conditioned comfort. Nice friendly Texas panhandle airport. Highly recommended

From Ron Connolly. on 18-Aug-2009

I find that FKN at 3.23 a gallon seems to be pretty good too. It is full service also.

From Jeff Nickels on 22-Jul-2009

Great airport! Arrived around 7PM and a lineman (Ronnie) directed us to parking. When he heard we were spending the night, he tied the plane down and offered a courtesy car. Cheap gas, great service.

From David J. Spencer on 03-Jul-2009

My first thought was I had passed through a time warp... I called position on the downwind and got an instant "airport advisory" from a real live human. Landed on the 6000' foot "perfect" runway and pulled in for a fuel stop. Not only did we get fuel at a very competitive price, but they washed the windshield. I was back in the 1950's. Great place with great service and courtesy car to boot... We shall return... Also pretty (rough n' not for sissies) country. Beware the 6K DA... Its just part of the fun.

From Bob Sailor on 23-May-2009

A stop at Borger, TX is a stop at two icons. The refinery across the way makes 100LL. See it while you can. The efficient, polite service typifies Texas. That will be around longer than 100LL. The fuel prices and food at Lorain's are a huge bonus.

From John Kirkendoll on 06-May-2009

What awesome service and great fuel prices. Called Unicom on a 5 mile base on had three guys meet the plane for a quick turn in an MU-2. I was on the ground less than 30 minutes. I'll be back.

From Jeremy McClellan on 11-Apr-2009

The fuel prices here are un-believable! They really are the cheapest fuel prices in the nation!

From Greg West on 07-Apr-2009

Had a trip into Borger with my employer's Hawker. The FBO was kind enough to let our passenger use a courtesy car for his meeting, then let us use the airport truck to grab some grub while the second courtesy car was being used. Friendly staff, great fuel price, easy in and out makes this an attractive stop.

From Dick Welsh on 02-Apr-2009

They always have the best fuel price in the West and the FBO staff is the best and very friendly.
