We often stop at BGR for customs with our Bonanza. Custom's is easy to arrange and service from Avitat is always good. Stayed overnight on this visit. Avitat recommended Four Points Sheraton on the airport. It was a good choice; nice rooms, good restaurant, and convenient shuttle across the ramp.

The FBO is right next to US Customs. The customs guys were waiting for me when I landed and I was able to just leave my plane there and walk to the FBO to arrange fuel and do some flight planning. All in all a quick stop on my way back from Canada.

June 26/11 ~ Great overall experience from start to finish, the approach and tower controllers were the friendliest and most helpful that I have ever experienced (all the more impressive on hard IMC day), the FBO was friendly and adequately equipped, they happily took us over to the commercial terminal via airside shuttle for lunch and gave us a number to call when we were ready to go. Fuel was reasonably priced considering it is a bigger airport and they are the only game on the field. Would highly recommend KBGR based on my GA experience!

I have stopped at Avitat Bangor several times on my way out to Deblois Flight Strip each summer. The staff is always very courteous and helpful and the service is as good as anywhere. Fuel prices are more than reasonable considering they are the only game in town - us pilot owners appreciate that a lot. I'll be heading back up there next week and am looking forward to stopping in before heading out to the blueberry fields.

Stopped at Avitat BGR to pick up passengers and get fuel. Overall the experience was top shelf. They topped me off quickly and the line person was extremely conscientious about making sure my tanks were really "topped" after I told him of the difficulties getting a P210 really full. Returning at night after the FBO closed, the ramp was completely full so I left the plane in an awkward location. When I returned the next morning, the plane had been moved and the team at Avitat could not have been nicer and more helpful. I will definitely return here.

Flew into BGR in a Twin Comanche during Solid IFR the controllers were great, & the ground crew were friendly & fast at getting the planes topped off up & turned around. The folks behind the counter couldn’t of been nicer. FBO was very nice & clean. Will definitely return.
