We landed there due to wx on Nov 6th. Brad took good care of us, gave us the keys to the crew car and recommendations on lodging and restaurants. Nice little town and friendly folks there.

I flew into Burns for the day and was offered the loaner car for the entire day. I filled it up with gas as a thank you. It made my day having the car at my disposal and not having to worry about the local cab service being reliable. Thanks a million.

Stopped by here to use the bathroom and top off the tanks. Nice little airport, was a ghost town when I was there on a Sunday morning. Good fuel stop. The pop machine didn't want to take any dollar bills, not sure why.
Response from Walt and Pat Sitz who manage the Burns Airport, Eagle Wings Inc. Just a short note on basic courtesy: first it's nice to have fuel wherever you are; second it's nice to have a clean bathroom with toilets that flush and a clean little terminal to get in out of the weather 24hrs a day; third 2 courtesy cars there most of the time to go into town to eat, get a motel, or whatever you want; fourth someone to fix your plane if it so happens to break down day or nite or sundays. So these are just a few things to be thankful for when you come into Burns Airport. All you have to do is call us on one of the many numbers posted for your convenience, we are on the field in the large gray hangar as the info posted reads. Thank you and enjoy your next flight into Burns and not being hassled. Courtesy is a forgotten word.

Like an old west Ghost Town. Stopped here on my way to Seattle. Fuel was good and the pump was a little ancient, but worked well nonetheless. Except for me, one airplane taking off, and an Ameriflight Chieftain, there was no one else around. The FBO was nice and offered a nice picnic area to enjoy my sack lunch.

Nice place. Not much going on, but still has a clean and good-looking FBO. Fuel is Self Serve, and the pump looks a bit ancient, but has a credit card reader and worked perfect.

A great stop in the middle of nowhere! The courtesy car is an old police cruiser that doesn't like to go into reverse - classic! Drove into town to have lunch at the DQ. Gotta love places like this.

As others have said - nobody around but office/restrooms open and fuel available (pumps a little outdated but still work fine)

Other comments are right on! There's NOWHERE else around Burns - but the Potty works and the fuel is there. An Oasis!
