I stopped for an overnight stay and fill up. AirNav info was accurate. This is a beautiful airport with newly refinished runways and a nice clean terminal building. The friendly staff provided a courtesy car for the transportation to our hotel. It was the standard airport free vehicle--a retired county junker but the price is right! I'll be back. Thanks Kyle.

Understaffed, but nice personnel. Seats in junker loaner will rip your slacks. No Internet for flight planning.

I drop by the Brownwood airport frequently when I'm in the area. The airport is a very nice facility with a relatively nice FBO, good runways and taxiways and great service by the line staff. Janetta has helped me the last two trips there and you can count on her for professional help and a friendly smile. I'll definitely return.

Stopped in a Piper Cherokee 180 for fuel on x-country to Denver City TX. Small distance to walk from pump to FBO. Nice clean facility well equipped facility, complementary tea/lemonade/cookies. No assistance inside the FBO...No one spoke or welcome my presence as expected in most facilities. A for fuel prices C- for customer service.

Stop for fuel with my Cessna 150 from CA to TX, clean, free coffee and cookies, will stop on way back to CA. Good place for fuel.

Very professional and helpful staff. My needs and comfort were Bobby and Mike's top priority. Service doesn't get any better than this! Very well maintained and orderly facility. Would recommend this airport to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

X-Country from Jackson, MS to Alpine, TX. Stopped at Brownwood both directions Friday Noon & Sunday a.M. Based on other AirNav users' comments & AirNav's fuel planner. Outstanding people and facility: Great service from the employees, self-service inexpensive fuel, clean accessible bathrooms, vending machines, flight planning. I highly recommend if you're flying through this part of Texas, stop here.

A nice airport with freshly re-coated and re-painted runways. Nice FBO terminal and a friendly airport manager as well. Fairly quiet and not much air traffic.

Stopped on the way to Midland. Great fuel prices, courteous service and a classic courtesy car. Have to try Underwood’s cafeteria in town wonderful experience overall.

Pristine airport. A street sweeper was cleaning the ramp and taxiway when I arrived on 6-4-09. Fueled my humble Cessna and loaned me a car for a lunch run in town. Highly recommend a steakhouse called Pete's on the main drag. Brownwood and Lampasas airports should be the Texas airports others are judged by.

We dropped in here on a Saturday night due to wx and Lonnie dropped whatever he might have been up to, to come out to the airport to get us the crew car. Above and beyond the call, but then this is TEXAS...WAY TO GO LONNIE

Bargain fuel and great service to go with it. Very friendly and professional. I recommend this as a cross country refueling stop.
