Courtesy car for lunch and staff was very attendant, airport seemed well cared for.

I have never treated any better than here. The Mgr was a great person, loaned us a car, and all around friendly and helpful.

I made an unplanned stop here because my oil temps were getting high. I was glad I did. The friendly attendant gave me a cold bottle of water, the courtesy car keys and recommended a place in town to eat. Had great Huevos Rancheros at the Rabbit Ear Cafe. Then toured the Herzstein Memorial Museum downtown, which was very interesting.

March 12, 2011. A nice airport. The runways are in good shape and the operator told me that all of their hangars are occupied so it is good to see general aviation alive and well on the plains. Cheap fuel and they brought the crew car out to my plane. They even staff the airport on Sundays. Motels and Mexican food in town. Good stop.

Diverted to CAO due to loss of oil press. Staff went out of their way to help and secure an A&P to remedy the problem. VERY helpful. Provided crew car at no cost. Stanley and Edward were the best! ! ! Stayed at the Best Western, clean and comfortable. Corner Cafe was great food.

What a nice friendly place to stop. The airport manager was happy to see us, even though we didn't buy anything other than a Dr. Pepper. He said we were the first plane to stop in three days.

Sparse facility. But, friendly, helpful service. Has Internet service. Quick stop.
