The FBO is fine - guys there are helpful, plane was ready to go, fueled up when I came back - rental car there and good to go. 2nd trip for me. Both times no problem. Great passenger terminal sitting there going to waste - bug $$ wasted here. No airline service but a terminal for one. What I did notice is there is not ONE runway or taxiway signs on the property - paint on runways is faded too. Watch crossing unmarked runways.

Visited on Nov 22; The Airport Cafe is definitely closed now - a real shame! Borrowed the Airport Authority pickup to grab a bite in downtown Cumberland at the Queen City Creamery, instead. Line service was very helpful as always. Passengers had a rental car from Enterprise [301-722-0700] and it was waiting in the lot for them as requested. Had poor experience making reliable arrangements with other rental car companies on previous trips to CBE.

Although the restaurant (Emma's Runway Café) has closed, upstairs is a video poker/Keno/Lotto pallor has opened (304-738-8740). It offers microwaveable food/sandwiches, chips, candy and soda. The restrooms are clean. One can pull their airplane right up to the door and the fuel trucks can top you off, while you grab something to tide you over. Thus a very quick turnaround is possible.

Airport service is great, however it appears that The Runway Cafe has gone out of business (based on a call to the airport authority).

Good service from the line guys and a fair price for 100LL. Very limited facilities, however. Not even a coke machine.

All I can say is that my plane was ready and fueled before I parked. Great service.

Flew into KCBE on 5 April with a total of 5 airplanes of the KEYSTONE FLIGHT out of Central PA, and the DC area...Great airport, service, facilities and cafe! This place is perfect...We made this a destination based on the excellent reputation and we were not disappointed. Well done, Cumberland Regional! We will be back.
