Weekend Comments: 1. Bring your own tiedown straps as they may run short of rope or straps. 2. Courtesy transportation or Courtesy cars applies only to "local Crestview area" NOT the beach hotels in Ft. Walton Beach. Response from Jonathan Dunn, President and Owner, Emerald Coast Aviation Mr. Martin Sir, we truly appreciate your business and the opportunity to serve you. We apologize that there were not enough tie down ropes for your aircraft but you were part of a party of 22 aircraft that all arrived within a 2 hour period. We are unable to offer courtesy transportation for a journey that is over 35 miles away and takes an hour to drive. We do however provide courtesy transportation within our local area and also supply a free crew car to pilots. Again I apologize that there were not enough tie down ropes when you visited Crestview and I can assure that this has been dealt with and more tie down ropes are in place. Best wishes.

Thanks Daniel for your excellent service. Last night we had to make an unexpected stop in Crestview FL in a Citation. We pulled in to Emerald Coast Aviation and Daniel was outside waving us in. For a one man operation at that time in the evening the service could not have been better. If we ever need to make another stop in the area we are confident we will receive valuable service. I'm sure we will see you guys again. Many Thanks!!!!

Wonderful experience. The people there really helped us in every way possible. The crew car was out so the owner let us use his truck to go to the rental car place and return our car. Plane was taken care of like it was their own. Good service good people.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Didn't use the crew-car but it looked decent. Nice facility with good (Starbucks) coffee served and a nice pilot lounge and flight planning area. *Be aware that hotels are not close to the airport. They are on the south end of town near the interstate and will require transportation. (The FBO will give you a ride to a hotel, but return is cab or whatever. ~20-bucks...) **Comfort Inn - Though new, not even close to being worth $85/night. Paper-thin walls, cheap fixtures, and a long walk to anything but Wendy's. Look at Jamison Inn or Holiday Inn Express to be right next to Cracker Barrel and Hooters...

Flew in on 07-03-2011, made arrangements the night before with Daniel, the lineman. He told me there were no available rental cars but would allow me to use a crew car overnight, which I thought was great. After arriving, they were out and had the car waiting, although it ended up being a rental car, which is not what I was expecting. Fuel price was discounted if paid by cash. Service was friendly.

I operate in and out of Crestview on a regular basis. The Emerald Coast Aviation staff is simply superb. The line personnel are top notch. They never hesitate to provide above and beyond service, whether it's a jump start, clean the windscreen or a little air for the tires. They always greet you with a smile and can never do enough for you. Thanks for all the help.

On a recent flight from MTH to SAT we stopped at CEW. This was a first time. We had a great layover at the Jameson next door to the Cracker Barrel. Good food. The best part of the experience was the great service at Emerald Coast Aviation. The next very cold morning, the engine would not start. Emerald Coast VP Brad Hall took the cowling off, battery out and charged it for me. He then started the engine from a flooded condition and we were able to make it home before the bad weather set in the next day. I highly recommend Emerald Coast Aviation. I'll be back!

I was weathered in at CEW in mid-December. The very helpful office staff and line crew helped with a room at the new Holiday Inn, the use of the courtesy car to get there, and serviced the plane in the rain to have it ready to fly early the next morning. You have got to experience Emerald Coast Aviation. Extremely friendly and customer oriented. There is nothing they won't do for a customer. Their maintenance shop is first rate. We used them to perform an annual inspection on a TBM 700. Brad and Bob did an outstanding job, on time and less cost than any other shop. They even washed it and detailed the interior. This is how all FBOs should be run. Have used them for minor maintenance before but will use them for all maintenance from now on.

I work as a crewman for a blimp that travels all over the company. I am not a pilot but I spend a lot of time while the ship is flying from point A to Point B on the phone talking to FBOs and airport managers. The good folks at Emerald Coast Aviation were very professional on the phone and had a place picked out for the ship to land. Despite frequent attempts on my part to get lost on the way to the airport the FBO personnel were able to steer me to the front gate. Once we got there the manager assigned someone to lead us out to the area we were gonna use for a mast site for the evening. It is always a pleasure to work with a professional operation. Emerald Coast Aviation made the task of organizing the masting of the blimp easy on me. Thanks for making my job easier.

You can get gas anywhere. You CANNOT get personalized, personal treatment anywhere. But, you can here, at Bob Sikes. We arrived with OUR DOGS! Well-behaved, trained, and restrained, but the cadre at CEW serviced our airplane, using pads to cushion the fuel valves from damaging the paint, and met our aircraft with a personal and warm welcome for us and our fur-friends who were traveling with us. After seeing to our every need, including a large quantity of 'break-in' oil for our new engine, they sent us on our way with the certain knowledge that, when we would return, it would be to top-notch service from a crew of professionals. It's great to have these people so near to our home base, and to know they are full-service, leaning forward. Well done, Jonathan and Lance!

Emerald Coast was super. The staff went out of their way to help us. My Landing gear had to be hand pumped down and the A&P mechanic was most helpful and check my plane out. We rented a car from Enterprise through Emerald Coast and it was ready to go when we got there. The plane was in the hangar, cool and easy to load. They even arranged to have my biannual instrument inspection done while we were there. I recommend this FBO and airport highly. On the way to and from Sun and Fun we stopped at KCEW. The FBO Emerald Coast was outstanding! On the way down we just got fuel at a good price and a fast friendly turn. Emerald Coast is a FIRST CLASS FBO. I arrived after 1600 on Good Friday, called on Unicom before landing, and had a line-boy guiding me in to a parking spot. He said he would park and tie the airplane after he got my reserved rental car to the airplane and loaded it. The contract for the rental car was already written, fresh coffee and cookies awaited, and the price of avgas was more than $1.00 cheaper than at Destin. The rental car was also much cheaper, and there were no hidden costs. It's only 20 miles to Niceville, Destin, Eglin AFB, and Ft. Walton Beach. The employees are friendly, the bathrooms, "snooze room", and flight-planning rooms were spotless. This is THE FBO in the area.

Ok, Guys let me tell you first hand that if you are flying into the Panhandle you have to STOP at Bob Sikes (KCEW). The new owners are the best that I have ever seen. We fly down to the Sandestin area once a month or so. We leave a car there on their property they meet us at the plane with the car and when we get ready to leave they park in and replace the car cover. The fuel is very reasonable to what we were paying. The pilot lounge is very nice and first class. We had issues with our Piper last month they jumped right on it and we were out the next day. Unlike Destin-Fort Walton Beach (KDTS) airport you may land at Bob Sikes without a landing fee, fuel being twice the going rate, and the staff watching you to make sure you don't take a cookie without paying for it. I would like to Thank the staff at KCEW for making our trips much better.
