Landed here as a night stop enroute from KOSH back to California. The staff was friendly and gave me a ride into town to my hotel. Superb service. They were there when I got back ~0730 in the morning so I could settle up and get on my way.

Outstanding service!!!! Not enough words of praise for the folks at Cortez!!! We stopped through for a 4 night stay and needed an AD complied with their AP staff handled this promptly. On the early Saturday morning of our departure we had additional maintenance issue which required attention from their expert staff. Within 30 minutes an AP had fixed the problem and we were on our way. If you are considering visiting this corner of Colorado don't look any further than Cortez.

Friendly staff directed us to a tie down, and had my plane secured before we could get out! The FBO called us on Unicom while we were still 10 miles out and asked if we needed anything. They called Enterprise for us, and our car was there shortly. Good fuel prices! Excellent stop.

Cortez Airport is scheduled to close to all fixed wing traffic from August 16 to Sept 14, 2010 for runway repair. Check for NOTAMS.
