From Larry Gregory on 03-Aug-2005
I stopped in for lunch (June 23, 2005) with my Flight Instructor from Cleveland AirSports. We were both impressed with the decor but I was apprehensive about how expensive the lunch would be. WOW was I pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Eggplant Parmagian which came with a huge salad, fresh Mushroom Florintine soup and hot bread. The portions were more than generous and served piping hot and delicious! The Flight Instructor had "just" a chicken salad. More than enough to effect the Weight & Balance of a C-172SP. Oh, and the cost was about$15. The new owner, Eva came by and greeted us personally. I told her that I would gladly recommend this restaurant to all my friends. After I returned home to Tulsa, Oklahoma I noticed some unfavorable reviews in AirNav so I called Eva and asked how long she had been there - she just recently took over - in March of 2005. This is certainly worth a trip to CGF for lunch - dinners are probably a little more expensive but worth it.
