Landed yesterday for a fuel stop. Price was as advertised on AirNav. Couldn't have been happier with the facilities and service. We were met on the ramp by the assistant manager Ben Harrison. He was quite pleasant and helpful. Will be back!

Flew in for the $100 hamburger. Restaurant is still open. Food was good at a good price. Nice view to watch other aircraft and skydivers as the dining area is on the second floor of the FBO. Watch out for the Caravan toting up skydivers on Saturdays. They make quick turns.

Stopped for fuel twice this past week. Price is as stated on AirNav. I was informed that the price of the last truckload of 100LL was 90 cents lower than the previous load!! Even though I used the SS, help was provided by friendly staff. There is construction in progress on the ramp area, which is NOT NOTAMED. A fence is right on the edge of the taxiway going South which could easily be hit by a wing tip. If one were operating at night, that fence would be impossible to see. Great fuel price, least expensive for miles around.

I made a brief fuel stop at 3A1 yesterday. The staff was very friendly and the airport is nice. The fuel price was as advertised on AirNav. Watch out for the student pilots there. I had one little Cessna hold me up for over five minutes before they finally pulled onto the runway with no radio call while another little Cessna was on short final.

Stopped for fuel and lunch in C182 on Thursday February 9, 2012. Great airport, very nice facilities and they provided a vehicle for the short drive to town for lunch. Very well run airport that permits a quick fuel stop.

We stopped in for gas after Christmas in our Cherokee 6. Everybody was super friendly. We were treated like old friends :-) We were offered the courtesy car to go into town for lunch as well. I definitely recommend stopping here :-)

Mr. Harwood has always been helpful and entertaining. Cullman is my hometown, although I've lived in the Atlanta area, for 40 plus years. 3A1 is a great airport with good fuel prices...

Great airport with friendly staff. Flew over from Atlanta today for the great burgers but the restaurant was closed. The staff said they hope the closure is temporary (as do I) but you should probably call if you are planning to eat until we know.

Good food, great fuel price, parachute jumping on the field. Only complaint is the trickle at which 100LL is delivered from the self serve pump. Bring a sun visor and plan to spend 30 minutes for anything larger than a 150!

Jet, 150 makes no difference; Harwood is on top of everything you need. Hungry on weekend, best catfish in the restaurant just take the elevator to the eatery overlooking the airport ramp and runway. Fun watching the jumpers while you eat. Stop every chance I can.

Flew here for the first $100 breakfast - friendly people, great food at the restaurant upstairs. Nice place to relax, great view from the restaurant, jumpers on the weekend.
