One of the best FBO's around. There was a large group of us flying in and out everyday for over a month and the line and staff were always great. They did whatever we needed right away. If there wasn't a crew car available they would go and rent another one. The last few days of our journey we had to move across the field to Landmark and there is no comparison

Crew car was available for me upon arrival and I was quickly on my way as my plane was refueled (crew car free for one hour for those who purchase fuel). After I got back there was a change of plans and Aimee was able to find me a hotel room at a special rate across the street. They shuttled me over. There were no ramp fees, but an overnight parking fee of $15 (plane was securely tied-down at all three points).

I landed at CMH on March 30th intending to park overnight. While taxiing, I lost radio contact and realized my alternator had quit. James from the Maintenance Shop was exceptionally helpful and courteous. In fact, the entire staff from the line guys to the receptionists was the very best. They even provided a courtesy car and it was a Lincoln Continental! Lane Aviation is a professional outfit and I will return when business takes me there!!

Judy at the front desk is just the best. She managed to get us a great rate at a local hotel we prefer. We were going to relocate to OSU but she worked it out for us. Thanks again, great to see such professionalism out there.

Bought charts and sectionals around noon. By evening I noticed my wallet missing. Called Lane at 10PM and they immediately initiated a search for it. I found my wallet elsewhere, but the good feeling that Lane guys on night shift were giving it their best shot to find it for me was priceless. Thank you!

I am a night dweller. Came in just before 10 pm and left before 6 am. Night shift crews at other FBOs sometimes have a certain reputation, but these guys were at the top of their game and treated me like a rock star. Windshield was cleaned before I had a chance to get out of my Piper Warrior, and was done without even being requested. Upon my return, Jeff was very friendly and helpful taking care of the rest of my needs. A little disappointed pilot shop closes at night because it looked like they had some really neat and unique items. If I make it back I guess I'll have to visit during the day.

This is one of the best FBO's I have been to. The line staff and their can-do attitude in general at Lane are second to none, even for a Piper driver. Fuel and overnight fees are fair considering the excellent service, location and amenities.

I've been working around the country for years doing government survey work and I must pass along to my fellow pilots, I've enjoyed the service received from Lane Aviation of Columbus, Ohio. They have the ramp and office staff to make you, the PIC look good. I've seen small and large aircraft move in and out of this FBO and it's like a well oiled machine. You'll enjoy your stay whether it's a quick turn or longer, it's worth your time.

I flew into CMH for a Beechcraft Pilot Proficiency Program. All of the staff at Lane Aviation were very helpful and pleasant.I was taken to a hotel right across the street in their van. They also handled the 75+ planes very well. I will definitely plan to return.

Best big city FBO I have ever dealt with. We fly a 421 and a Dakota. When we pull up we are given jet service. I have never seen a group so revved up to help. No ramp fee with a minimal fuel purchase. Yes the fuel is expensive but this is a major airport and the service is perfect. Compared to other city airports this is tops.

Stopped to walk to terminal to pick up a kitten from a flight attendant for PilotsNPaws animal rescue. Took a very short time, they waived any fees for the humanitarian cause. Very nice.

A late evening arrival on 10/21 with a PC-12 was greeted by attentive and courteous line staff who drove us to our overnight hotel; located on the airport. Next morning had the airplane ready and refueled when they picked us up at the Hilton Garden Inn (great hotel and "crew rate"). Papers and ice ready as soon as we arrived, paid for the services and on our way with no wasted time. We appreciated their service so much we returned a day later (10/23) for passenger pickup and they had a "quick turn" for the airplane with only 29 minutes from chock in to chock out. Great service and great staff. Way to go!! We'll be back.

We flew in there over Columbus Day weekend. People at Lane were very friendly and helpful. They drove us to the rental car counter in the parking garage and told us when we returned we could just drop the car off with them, and they would call Hertz to come and get it. Well, it looks like they forgot to call Hertz for 3 days, because we dropped the car off on October 12, but Hertz didn't receive it back until October 15! Lucky for me that Hertz took my word on the return and credited my bill, but Lane's carelessness almost cost me $250 in car rental fees.

Arrived in my Cherokee 140B. Was treated like royalty. As a stranger, I found that NATCA has a Port Columbus website which has a couple of informative photos on their website which really helped orient me in addition to the airport diagram I got from AirNav.Com Free ride to and from the 94th Aero Squadron for dinner. Fuel prices as posted. No surprise charges. Exceptionally friendly people

Low landing fee of $4 for my 182RG. Friendly staff. Avgas is on the high side in contrast to other places at this time. Didn't get fuel, but they didn't charge me a ramp fee after I bought a Cinci sectional.

Upon landing, I was greeted at the door by a lineman. He asked what our needs were, and I stated we wanted a top off of fuel, and that we would be in town for a couple days for a meeting. He asked about ground transportation, I replied that our hotel had a shuttle. His response was, nonsense, I'll take you to your hotel - and just call and we'll pick you up when you are ready to come back to the airport! One of the best experiences I've seen from an FBO! Oh, and by the way, we were in a 172 - not a jet (although there were plenty of them around too!)

Came for business meeting downtown. Called 20 minutes out and requested taxi. When I got there, a private car service was there and took me downtown, for $40 fee. Taxicab back was $20. Next time I'll specify taxicab, although that's what I asked for today. Very low landing fee of $4 without fuel purchase.

Another excellent experience with Lane Aviation at Port Columbus. As always, the total service was prompt, courteous, and helpful. The 100LL was a penny less than advertised and turned out to be $4.88/gal including the $0.30/gal State tax. No extra fees of any kind were charged. Checking AirNav is part of the pre-flight briefing for airports I do not use frequently.
