Can't speak too highly of Flightstar line and maintenance and the tower staff at KCMI. While IFR over KCMI, lost comms and made emergency landing at nearby non-towered a/p. By the time I shut down, the tower had called to check on my status then helped fly back to KCMI to land for maintenance using light gun. When did you ever do that? Flightstar maintenance jumped on diagnosing the problem (stuck PTT) and by 8:30 the next morning the problem was fixed and we were on our way to our daughter's wedding. And the line and front desk staff were equally helpful and responsive. Could not have asked for a better experience. I can't recommend Flightstar too highly.

My first visit to KCMI and FlightStar... A quick turn for a charity flight. Lineman already positioned and waving upon ramp entry. After giving fuel instructions, 2nd lineman arrives with the fuel truck within a minute. Wing protectors used. Both worked efficiently; one fueling, the other cleaning my windshield without me asking. FBO is clean and well stocked for pilots. First class operation! Thank you!

Really can't say enough nice things about the FlightStar team. Flew in from western NY in a humble 152 and they treated me like everyone else. Super helpful and friendly, and not a single one of their staff was an exception. If I'm ever back in the area, I would absolutely come back to FlightStar.

Yes, 100LL is a little more expensive than other locations, but the service makes up for it. A lineman greeted us, our fuel order was taken and filled immediately with my instructions followed to the letter. Good job! Nice people all around.

We landed here in a 172 late at night after hours to avoid some storms and EVERYONE was fantastic. The controllers did a great job coordinating, fire department helped contact the FBO for afterhour services, and line service was fantastic. Thanks for the hospitality at CMI.
