Beautiful, hilly, woodsy Wisconsin site with fantastic runway and approaches. Technically military Class D, but rarely active. Self serve fuel with two pumps - both 100LL - a little confusing. Unattended but good amenities. Locks use NDB code. Town is a hike, turn right at the entrance road, stay on that till it ends then left onto highway to town.

Great underused facility - Info dated. 24/7 100LL w/o calling anyone. Don't let MOA or tower bother you - rarely active & super friendly/helpful personnel when there. GCO for clearance and military maintained - impeccable! Super gas prices too!!

Nice airport, but this summer I could not get the self serve fuel point to work despite various cards, checking the unattended FBO office, and attempted phone calls. Later that day had no problem with the same system at another airport.
