OUTSTANDING! Cutter COS handled every request I made for them under less than ideal circumstances. On arrival with 25G35 winds they led me straight to the overnight T-hangar for my Husky, rode me back to the terminal, had my hotel reservation made and had already called the hotel shuttle van. Next AM had the airplane pulled out and topped off per my request before my arrival. WAY TO GO and THANKS!

These guys are AWESOME! Flew in on a Monday night in a bonanza for a quick meeting. Had the car ready, waiting, and warmed up for us when we pulled up. When we returned, we found out that they hangared the aircraft since it had started accumulating snow. This was my 2nd time coming here and I'll definitely be back again and again!

Cutter is my new favorite FBO at COS. I am disturbed to see that the other FBO at COS has taken the cowardly approach of blocking comments on AirNav. That position has backfired on this pilot/customer. Cutter was very professional, helpful, and we were fortunate enough to use their crew car on our last visit. That is the nicest crew car I have ever driven. How many FBOs do you know with less than 11, 000 miles on their crew car? Vote with your feet people (or should I say wings?). The other FBO needs to know that we don't like their anti-comment policy.

Excellent line service and friendly desk staff. They called a taxi as requested on their UNICOM freq 15 minutes prior to landing and the cab pulled up to my airplane as I shut down. Overnight fee not waived with (57 gallon) top-off (Cirrus) but it was only $10. They will be my FBO of choice when I visit the 'Springs.

Flew into COS in a 421 on 8-24-11. Great service, rental car on the ramp, great fuel price. Loaded passengers to leave the next day and I had a dead starter. I asked Cutter if they could recommend a mechanic on the field and they referred me to Alan Spencer with Pro Av. He rushed right over and confirmed the starter was dead. I was ready to accept that we were stranded until a new one could arrive the next day. Alan called his other shop and they happened to have a starter in stock. One of his guys jumped in a 172 and flew it over while he pulled the old one. We ended up with only a two-hour delay, the bill was more than fair, and my passengers were thrilled. Thanks Alan, you saved the day!!!!

Landed at COS just before a big rainstorm on my way to Oshkosh. The crew at Cutter treated me like royalty, rolling my RV-6 into the hangar to protect it from the rain. When my buddy arrived a couple of hours later in his RV-8 he got treated great too. Paul, and all the Cutter crew, really knows the meaning of customer service. We did not spend a lot of money with Cutter that day, but we sure got treated like we were paying the light bill! Thank you for the help. See you next year.

Flew into KCOS end of June and had a good experience with the folks at Cutter. They were kind enough to drive me to the main terminal to get rental car (should have booked through them, it would have been waiting). They also picked me up on our way out after I dropped off the car at the main rental return area. A little confusion on the refueling day (it was hot so didn't want to refuel on arrival since we would be loosing gas to expansion). But they quickly got it done and were very nice about waiving an extra night of tie-down for the inconvenience. The fresh brownies were a special bonus!

Wow! This was *WAY* the heck better than the other FBO at COS (the one that requested AirNav not collect or publish user comments; I'm pretty sure there's a reason for that). At Cutter, it was all about me. Eddie and Jesse took care of my plane/fuel/rental car, and they've got a sense of humor. Why didn't I stop here last time?

The staff and line guys provided one of the best FBO experiences I've ever had. We had to leave our minivan in COS for a month. I called Cutter who said it'd be no problem leaving it there. On July 1st, we flew in from southern Mississippi to drop my wife off to pick up the van. The line crew was waiting to park our plane (a 4 place homebuilt) and we were handed cold bottled water on the ramp. They were attentive to every need, quick to assist with baggage, etc. The line guy went as far as cleaning the windshield and checking the tire air pressure... on our minivan! To the general manager, let those guys know it "really" does make a difference and to keep up the great service. We'll be back for sure.

Rental car was ready and quickly pulled up to the a/c on the ramp. We have previously visited this FBO and will continue to make Cutter our first choice in COS and elsewhere. Thanks Guys!

Hands down one of the best FBOs I've ever landed at. We diverted to COS due to weather. Shortly after landing 3 line technicians surrounded the A/C, unloaded our bags and had the plane tugged into the hangar within minutes. Before we were inside, a hotel reservation was made for us and Stephen was kind enough to give us a ride in the company van. Outstanding job guys! Keep up the good work!

Cutter at COS is an outstanding FBO. We taxied in to find the rental car on the ramp waiting for us. The lineman then helped us unload luggage and button the plane up. We were hangared 2 nights for a very reasonable fee. Upon departure the plane was on the ramp at the correct time, fueled up and ready to go. The lineman helped us load luggage into the plane, and took the rental car away. All-in-all an outstanding experience. We would recommend Cutter to anyone stopping at COS.

If you're flying into COS, go to Cutter. The best customer service we've seen yet. The folks on the line helped us unpack the airplanes and pack up the rental car. Bill at the desk is a true customer service professional and went above and beyond when we had a snafu with our rental car. He made multiple phone calls to get things situated...And it wasn't even a car rented through Cutter. The whole process was repeated when we departed on Sunday morning--they helped unload the rental car, undid the tiedowns, etc. All the staff at Cutter COS are true professionals and Cutter should be proud of the folks they have at this location--we won't even consider parking anywhere else when we go back. Thanks again guys!

I used this FBO based on the positive comments posted and the fact the competitor had none. The FBO was partially hidden behind some hangars and required jockeying the plane. The staff was indifferent at best. Facilities were minimal. I would use the other FBO if I returned.

We flew in for Memorial Day weekend and the folks at Cutter were great! They called the resort shuttle for us and Deborah helped my wife with her bags. We gave them a 30-minute notice when we were leaving and they pulled our plane back to the front door. Deborah met us in the parking lot to help with the bags again and provided us some fresh water for the trip. Despite a slow credit card reader that day, the tie-down fees were modest and the service was great. Thanks Jessie, Rita, Deborah and the guys...We definitely plan on returning.

Another great experience with Cutter. They took great care of my little Cherokee, had me fueled right away, and put away in the hangar with no advance notice. The next day they were very accommodating with my passenger and I while we waited out some very strong winds. They have a 1 hour limit on courtesy car time, but since no one was flying in that day, we got to take it to a movie while waiting out the weather. Thanks again, this is why we keep coming back!

Showed up there at 10:30pm on a friday night. I got in my rental car and two waters were in the cupholders. They got me put in a heated hangar for 4 days with 1 day notice. I called night before departure and asked for a 6am pull out and a fuel load so I could leave at 6:45am. I show up at 6am, plane is already fueled the night before. Pay for the fuel, get a GPU start and I am on my way. Very nice facility, equipment, and professional staff at a fair price. Very similar experience at Cutter in PHX. Thanks.

Planned to arrive the night of December 11th to pick up two passengers. Called Cutter hours in advance to advise them of our arrival. Told girl on phone to expect food to be delivered for the crew. Girl was very nice on the phone, and said she would handle the food arrangements for me instead, which was great because I didn't have to find and order it myself. However, when I arrived, the next girl on duty had no record left from the previous employee that we were coming, and there was no food waiting. 10 cent discount on fuel offered for the mistake, which saved $15 but made for a long hungry flight home.

Visited Colorado Springs Oct 17 for the Air Force-Wyoming game. Cutter was enjoyable experience and the staff very helpful and friendly. Had rental car waiting steps from the aircraft. If you call them they will make rental car and hotel reservations for you. Nice pilot lounge. Self-serve fuel down so they fueled me up at that price ($4.256).

Stayed at KCOS for several days and used Cutter Aviation: Very friendly line people (Paul!) and office person (Jennifer!). When I arrived, they had my National rental car on the ramp next to my airplane, and they hangared my plane for the price of a tie-down since they were out of tie-downs. They also fueled my plane and charged me the self-serve rate (very reasonable gas prices!) Upon my return I discovered that they do NOT have pre-heat equipment. Morale: Have them put your plane in a HEATED hangar the night before you plan to depart if the weather will be less than 40 deg F.

Stopped at Cutter KCOS on Aug 12/13. Spoke with Rita about 2 weeks prior and she was incredibly helpful, making our hotel reservation and car rental. When we arrived early on the 12th to drive to a river rafting destination, Enterprise had not left the car, so LaWanda let us take their crew van at no charge so we wouldn't be late, and had Enterprise replace that. They even hangared my plane and charged my battery for no charge. Rita, LaWanda, Mike, Orlando and the rest of the crew took great care of us, and after 2 weeks of traveling and parking at 8 FBO's, this was the best service we had throughout the country.

10 Aug 2009...Self serve fuel was down, they fueled me at the SS price though that price was only topped by my home airport (KOAK @4.85 gal) for what I averaged on a west to east coast round trip flight stopping at over 11 locations. Nice folks, prompt service. Had rental car waiting for me. If my sons get in to the Air Force academy I will be back.

When you sign your fuel order, you are signing a liability release form. Read the back of the form. If you decline to sign, you have to be there for towing (not a bad idea anyway). However, after waiting 20 minutes for the tug, I just moved across the ramp. Overnight fee was less over there also. Response from Jessica Scudder, General Manager, Cutter Aviation Mr. Patterson, Cutter Aviation requests that our customers sign a form when they arrive. This standard "hold harmless" agreement states first and foremost that the brakes are off on the aircraft and that Cutter has permission to tow it. There are other provisions listed on the back, such as that the customer maintains the appropriate insurance, agrees to pay for services provided by Cutter Aviation, releases Cutter from damages sustained in adverse weather conditions, etc. It also states in the indemnification clause that Cutter is held harmless "except to the extent such claims arise from the negligence or willful misconduct of Cutter." Should someone refuse to sign this form, we require that they are present for towing and services that are provided to protect ourselves from any unwarranted claims. We apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience that this policy caused.
