The wife and I flew into Grand Strand for a quick weekend getaway. Everyone and everything- from the ATC controller in the tower right down to the rental car being delivered to the ramp was absolutely perfect. This place is exactly what a Class D FBO should be like- friendly, relatively easy in and out, and great access to local areas. If you need a rental car, DON'T call WhatchaMcCollum Car rentals, they are terrible. Ends up costing more than Hertz. I would suggest using Hertz, they drop the car at your planeside.

Outstanding experience. Shirley at the front desk kept the light on for me as I called in and explained I might be arriving after closing time. In the morning, Barbara made sure I was topped off and waived my ramp fee. I was leaking oil and Barbara put me in touch with Executive HeliJet Maintenance who tended to my mechanical needs. Looking forward to coming back to THIS FBO

This place is exactly what a Class D FBO should be like- friendly, relatively easy in and out, and great access to local areas. If you need a rental car, call WhatchaMcCollum Car rentals. These aren't new cars- but they are safe, reliable and extremely affordable. The rental car agency is literally across the street and it doesn't get any easier. Car was driven out to the plane for the wife and I upon arrival. The airport was probably the highlight of our trip. :)

Trying to set up a flight to Myrtle Beach and I'm getting zero assistance from the FBO with a Rent-A-Car. Basically I'm stuck having to look on Google maps for the local rental places to try to find someone who will deliver to the airport. Unfortunately trying to get one of them to even pick up the phone is impossible. A little assistance from the FBO would've been greatly appreciated in planning this flight.

Planning a trip coming in KCRE on June 5th, 2021. They FBO provides no help getting rental cars. Enterprise, Thrifty were useless. Enterprise had no cars at this site. Thrifty, no one ever answered the phone in reservations at 10:30 AM. Found out Hertz had a location site around the airport and they were happy to help me get a rental for the week, Thanks Hertz. (843-839-9530) Helps to have a Hertz Gold Card #. Find it very interesting this FBO doesn't help direct you to rental cars, I almost went to another airport with my business.

Bought 150 gallons of Jet A. No crew car. No courtesy ride to lunch for the crew. There is an unwritten rule between FBO and flight crews...We buy some fuel, you provide transportation for us to get something to eat. These guys broke that rule. They did offer to call us a taxi and provided rental car phone numbers....

Was greeted with a 'follow me' cart which takes out some guess work. New equipment, clear facilities, and everyone was masked. Fuel at the right price. Good quick stay for us.

Really appreciate the great service here. From the guys on the line to the front desk, everyone is top notch. We made a reservation the day before and the pilot car met us while taxiing to guide us to parking. We had Enterprise drop off a rental car for us, and it was waiting when we arrived. Since we were only there a short time it was crucial that everything went smoothly, and Beach Aviation came through.
