We have flown in and out of KCRG on occasional visits to the Jacksonville area for several years. This was my first visit to Sky Harbor and I found it a very nice experience. We were met by a very professional and friendly staff that brought some very welcome cold bottled water and our rental car right to the airplane and then helped us unload. Everything we needed was taken care of quickly, professionally and cheerfully. Although fuel was a little high, Sky Harbor waived the daily parking fee for our 5-day stay with a 20-gallon purchase. I will be back next time!

Having never flown into Craig Field before, I called the night before and inquired about a tie down. When I landed the crewmember that directed my parking came up to the plane and called me by name. I felt so welcomed! The general manager, Rebecca Donovan was so thoughtful, helpful and caring. I will definitely look forward to coming again when I visit family. Thank you Sky Harbor for your expert, professional and warm service. I highly recommend to all flying into Craig Field, don't miss the friendly people at Sky Harbor. Flew in Friday to drop off my wife and a friend. Used their nice crew car to get my passengers to the beach and grab lunch (Al's pizza is the best pizza ever!). Purchased 30 gallons of 100LL at $5.39 (fuel prices need updating!). Returned today to pick up my wife and friend. Nice people, clean facility and great service here. I'll be back!

Been going to Sky Harbor for the past 7 years. Recently, I filled up at CAC's self serve pump and tied down at Sky Harbor. Rebecca has known me for all the years I have been staying there and told me that Sky Harbor has a new charge policy if you don't buy gas from them. She didn't inform what the charge was at the time. Checking out the next day, I was charged $50 for not purchasing gas from them and $10 for tie down. To charge $50 is egregious for not buying gas. You would have thought that they would have given me notice for my next trip instead of charging me. It stands to reason why their parking area is often empty and fuel sales are decreasing! You do not treat a customer like this and expect to be successful. I feel sorry for the few good people there like Joe and Melanie. CAC will have my business from now on although tie down and car rental are higher.

Excellent experience parking here over the Christmas holiday. The staff was friendly, helpful and very laid back. Gas prices quoted were exactly the same as listed here and I took an intervening day flight and they handled my departure and return professionally without comment even though we had not yet settled on my overnight fees. I will definitely return the next time I visit family in the area.

A wonderful experience. Needed a rental car. When they found out I was only going to the beach for the afternoon, they offered their courtesy car. Thanks so much!! Will definitely stop in again when visiting jax beach. Highly recommended.

Instead of refueling and going on to Miami, we decided to spend the night. Very helpful guys behind the desk gave us a break on fuel because the SS machine was inop. Rented us a car got us a good rate at a hotel, generally helpful. Would recommend, would return.

I always use Sky Harbor when flying into CRG. I have come for short half-day trips to check out my property & they always have a car available as long as you buy fuel. And they have a GREAT no parking fee policy for singe engine!! That really helps when I'm there for a week!! Of course the staff is always great!

Just left Sky Harbor after paying $6.67/gallon for 100LL. I remembered that it was cheaper when I checked on AirNav before departure, however I didn't think too much about it as the cost of fuel has been doing absurd things lately. When I returned I saw the cost is $6.13 on AirNav. The bottom line is you have to ASK IN ADVANCE to get AirNav's GUARANTEED price. I called back to ask about the difference and was informed that was their policy. There were a few other details I've come to expect that did not happen. For example its nice to meet someone on the ramp with their rental car (preferably running with AC on), at least ask if someone needs help with bags and don't take the keys out of the car causing someone to have to walk back and forth between the FBO and the car. Customer service reps were friendly and helpful. Kudos to Brittany.

Flew a Saratoga into CRG and stopped at Sky Harbor. What a great experience!! Friendly, customer service ladies and linemen. The linemen were busy when we taxied in so the ladies gave us the fuel from the truck for the self-serve price. Not having to do two hot starts is a blessing! In addition, when we asked where the vending machines were located the lady offered us free bottles of water. Great service!!

Stopped here for the weekend in my PA-32. Very pleasant and helpful staff. 100LL price had changed, but they immediately agreed to honor AirNav's Guaranteed Price when asked. All fees waived for modest fuel purchase. 'Will be back'.

Call Sky Harbor Aviation at 7:00 AM and let them know I would be coming up for a doctors appt that same day and would be landing at about 10.30 AM and would need a courtesy car, they said we have one and we will be looking for you, Well landed and went into Sky Harbor Aviation, yep you guess it, had to rent at car for $45.00 and pay top Dollar for fuel, so I would not recommend Sky Harbor Aviation for anything but maybe a rest room break, and I'll never be back.

From David Mashburn on 22-Nov-2007
Good service. Courtesy car was provided and directions to eat. My wife paid the fuel bill while I went to file my flight plan. I didn't think much about it until later in the flight my wife asked, " How much do we normally pay for gas"? When she told my how much we paid, I thought there must have been a mistake. They need to wash and wax your airplane as well for that kind of money.

First time here. Fuel prices a little pricey but line service personnel where great!! Melody at the front desk was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Will return.

As a follow-up to my previous comment, I'd like to note that Sky Harbor's facility manager spent a significant amount of time tracking my phone number down and then listened thoughtfully and helpfully to my feedback. I am impressed that she took the time to do so, and I explained that previous visits during which I received impeccable, "perfect 10" service definitely result in very high expectations when visiting their facility. After hearing Sky Harbor's philosophy of intending to treat every customer as the most important of the day, I will certainly give them another try next time I'm in the area. That their manager would take the time to call and then to be open to customers' feedback speaks well of Sky Harbor's intent to provide quality customer service. Thanks for your time, Rebecca: it went a long way towards winning back a long-term customer!

I used to love this FBO when it was Craig Jet. Unfortunately, my last two visits over the past year have proven to be somewhat disappointing. Fuel prices the highest I've seen on the eastern seaboard combined with somewhat unprofessional desk personnel. On the bright side, they were able to turn my airplane within a half hour, so maybe I've caught them on bad days the past few times?

Recent overnight trip in a Citation V. Had a great experience. Line staff put the plane away and pulled it out right on time despite being assaulted by no less than 7 C172 transient arrivals in an hour. Fuel was spot on and our car rental couldn't have been easier thanks to helpful staff. Took good care of our customer as well. Look forward to a return.

From John Garcia on 08-Dec-2006
Fuel is very expensive and I was quoted a $25 overnight fee for single engine waived with any fuel purchase. Was tempted to get 1 gallon and stop at the SGJ (St Augustine) self-serve but it was too cold to mess with it.
