Stop by due to poor weather condition on our way to Catalina Island from Henderson. FBO came on radio to provide weather and traffic report. People are very friendly and eager to help. FBO carries a freezer with food! We had an unexpected but pleasant lay over for a few hours.

Flew in with my new plane but the battery died and could not start...The guys helped me out the best they could and I ended up having to go into Barstow to buy another battery to finish my journey.... Great experience considering the circumstances

Very friendly and helpful people. We got a flat tire here, and they didn't have a replacement for us, but they called a nearby airport and got us taken care of.

Self-serve fuel was cheap but the guy’s onsite insisted on pumping it, very friendly people. Easy stop and pre-WWII hangars make it an interesting place to walk around. Great stop.

We stopped at Barstow-Daggett on 4/29 on our way back from Grand Canyon in a C172. At 10 miles out, we requested advisories and got an immediate response from the Unicom advising us of the favored runway and current conditions. After landing, someone from the FBO came out and met us at the pump to show us how to operate it. The FBO was clean and tidy, and had a pilot's briefing room with a computer. Would definitely stop here again.

Quick turn for our Robinson R44, with a lot of help at the pumps and a wide variety of cold drinks and snacks.

Flew to Barstow-Daggett just to get familiar with the area. FBO rep immediately answered CTAF, directed us to the self-serve, met us there, and helped us use the equipment. Good conversation and friendly guy in a kind of "desert people" way. Would definitely stop here again!
