Textar was outstanding on my recent trip to Dallas Love. I will definitely be stopping in to utilize them on my next trip through.

Called the day before to let them know of my arrival in a Cessna 340A. I taxied in the next day but no one to marshal me in. When someone showed up I gave them the fuel order and went in to check weather etc. About 10 min later a lineman shows up and tells me "that they put in 36 gal. of 100LL in the left tip and they ran out of fuel! It would be about an hour. Sorry but we don't sell much 100LL". To me that means the trucks should never be out of fuel! When they got me fueled an hour had passed. Again no lineman to move cones and marshal me out. VERY POOR SERVICE! They don't take care of the little guy. What they don’t know is I fly corporate jets as well! I also called the manager a couple of days later, after I cooled down some.

Great service but unconscionable AVGAS price of $6.80/gallon. True, all of the other FBO's on the field are in cahoots and charging close to the same price but a reputable business doesn't do something just because everyone else does. On top of that, there is a $25/night ramp fee for a Baron. You'd be better off stopping at Dallas Executive, renting a car and buying the much less expensive fuel, as much as $2.50/gallon cheaper and renting a car. I think that will be my course of action next time. This is a far different experience than I used to have at the old Regal Aviation.
